You have chosen the wrong video to compare "High" settings makes the picture generally beautiful, while somewhat sacrificing high load elements, such as smoke, reflections, clouds and water. Do the same, but woth a burning/smoking plane and you will see the difference
Yeah sorry, I thought I could use Xbox gamebar as I just wanted to see the difference but next time I'll use my graphics software as it would record in 60fps
movie settings the color looks much richer. the shadows are much more defined between the soft and hard. much like looing at RAW footage. play around with the post FX settings too. you can make the game look really cool in different styles with that.
It would be more realistic if there was slight camera shake on fire. The vehicle should also flinch a bit while firing, and the rocket ignition and exhaust is just a ball of fire
There is a recoil infact, for the camera. Most people actually turned it off.. But it is very immersive when you fulled it out haha.. Especially when you're shooting big funny ahh guns..almost like there was an earthquake on your screen
On the movie one ,the smoke should exists, thats just the rocket ,but the smoke coming from the rocket and lasting and spreading there could be and when the rocketnis traversing the air there could be a line of smoke trailing it and then spreading in the air .
dunno if gaijin knows and is purposely not adding that feature in for performance issues but rockets and stuff launched from planes have that smoke trail effect so idk what gaijin's up to with that
"High" mode has much more dynamic range (shadows aren't black) so in other words it looks like uncompressed raw video. This said, "High" looks more like a movie.
My monthly struggle with the question if I should step back from movie settings for general gameplay, because it leaves all the tall grass active when in sight mode... I won't, but I do question.

@@ENGAM my buddy built the pc only thing ive done is install new graphics card and rams and i had him on a videocall making sure i did it right, ik that my cpu is definetly not up to par with my gpu, which causes a bottleneck for sure. maybe whats causing it to crash. just weird how i was able to play once and ever since then it just freezes. it sucks cause id be playing this 24/7

the difference is mostly in resolution of shadows and effects, its very hard to show that on a youtube video

There is setting for grass visibility in "Sniper Mode"
I just rock high graphics settings as it's an even balance between the two, and yes there is a setting to turn off grass in sniper / binos mode

I'm pretty sure there is wind, sometimes my plane banks for no reason but that might be just me, it only happens when I'm in free look mode tho
They do simulate wind and even air pressure. It's just something you don't notice all that much.
