Nearly all the songs are very memorable, despite not having Skolnick or Murphy on the album Lots of reviewers said its like a nu metal Testament album or experimental effort, its simply Petersons Testament with an emphasis on heavier songs and a continuation of the low vocals that had already been experimented with as early as Practice What You Preach and consistently on Low Guarantee that Demonic is far more played an album than most of their others save for The Gathering and the brilliant First Strike Still Deadly reworked album Solid 9/10 in my opinion, put on any album from the same kind of time and Demonic most likely kicks its ass, it outdid all the nu metal for heaviness while retaining thrash elements it was as heavy as a lot of death metal albums but didnt have any elements of death metal it still sounded like Testament, it went big and scored big

When it first came out .. i was a bit "mmm" "idk" "not bad" etc Through the years and every time i was revisiting .. i started to like it more and more :) Today .. After all these years i believe this is the most underated Testament album ever !!!!!

I'm the biggest Dark Angel fan there is but even though i know Gene and he's an amazing drummer, i really love every album or project he's been involved with over nearly 40 yrs. Dude knows what's up!! So much And this album is tuned to C# which me and MC have been using since 1993. It's my fav tuning for guitar!

Слушаю всё, от мадонны до 2пака, если есть музыка, то мне нравится. Нынче и Орбит Калча, и много чего интересного ещё даже Саймон Симонс с апакалиптикой, но Заветы- самая что ни есть круть.

Seen these guys seven times and worked two of them and they were really cool to hang with before and after the shows. Third track you get remnants of old Billy in there. Amazing this albums so old and I’ve been too far gone in parenthood and life ambitions. Time to get back to my roots and what forged me in the day.
I love this album so much, bought it in summer of 1997 with the original artwork and still have it, although the updated artwork is nice as well. Still a pleasure to listen to decades later.
I goddamn love this album! Still in regular rotation! When most bands were calling it quits or selling out Testament got heavier. Respect! But it’s infuriating that nothing has been played live since Alex came back. Go watch a show from that era. It crushes! 🤘🤘🤘
I agree 100%. I saw them live on the Demonic tour and would like to experience some of that again in their live set, at least one song. And it's a blessing that they are still touring. Testament rules :)

This album has been one of my favorite Testament albums since it came out. I saw them on this tour and they fucking killed it. Glenn Alvelias doesn't get the credit he deserves, but the dude fucking rips even though there's not a bunch of solos on Demonic.
