This seems like something that an excel beginner could do. Considering all inch measurement tools are in fractions, what value does decimal inches add? If you could show how to take it down to ½, ¼, ⅛, ... , I might think you were expert level. I fail to see any value of this video as it is and am commenting only because of the level of unbelief that overwhelms me in seeing something like this being posted.
When I use the = Convert(A2, "ft", "in") it converts my 4.999383129 (4 ft some inches) back to total inches 59.99259755. The video explains how to segment feet into a column and convert the remaining decimal value to inches. When I use the video method, I get 4 ft in one column and 11.99 in in the next column, which is what I needed.
someone can help me do something to converte milimeters in feet and inche (ex: 1'-2" = 3556mm) each one in differents columns ft and in / mm. i need that to do a budgget. thanks

Can any one explain me why not use the formula = Convert(A2, "ft", "in"), and press the Enter key (using format to limit decimals)???

1 feet to inches? = 2.4 inches? 1 feet is 12 inches. what are you on?
What are you talking about, she converted 1.2 FEET to 1'2" with a remainder of .4? Which if rounding to the nearest 16th would be 1' 2 3/8".
thanks u look cute xd
