- A demonstration of Climb Nova Scotia members replacing a standard wedge bolt anchor commonly used for anchors for rock climbing. Using a 12 volt impact driver with a socket head, two bolts, and a washer we successfully spin the bolt inside the hole making it loose enough to wiggle it in the hole. Then we use a 8 tone hydraulic press to pull the bolt leaving a 3/8" hole that we redrill with 1/2" to place a titanium glue-in.

Where can you get the hydraulic press?
We purchased ours on Ebay. Search for "hydraulic knockout punch".
Most have a hose or a 90 degree body that's not suitable.
The style we have is a knockoff of "Greenlee 7804-SB KNOCKOUT PUNCH KIT"

Are the spacer sleeves homemade? If so, what material are you using? Looks like nylon/Teflon but can’t tell for sure.

Those knockout punches are pretty pricy. Is there another way without the punch?
