  • Okay - this was recorded inside with an old phone about 15' away then played outside via bluetooth. There was a tad bit of onboard reverb & chorus added just for the heck of it. Keep in mind it was a little windy out and this was not scientific or meant to be.
    Do good shows and for what's right for you!

      Thank you very much I appreciate that. I believe outside though I was playing back from my phone via bluetooth what I had recorded inside. But, for over a year now I've been playing through a Shure GLX-D wireless and it has been great. It's been used in all kinds and sizes of inside and outside gigs.
      Thx!

    Just a quick unscientific dispersion test. Guitar was 1/2 step down...oh and watch the video before this for my initial thoughts on this. Do good shows 👍
    FYI I just did another video about an hour after this doing the same test with a Yamaha DBR12 powered speaker. Check out the video after this. Though it's not a side-by-side comparison you can flip back and forth and review them and see what you think.

    I have a question. I have this unit and was wondering dose the back of your unit get hot after a 3 hour show. Mine does wondering if it's something I should be worried about.

      @@ttaurus393 Good question. I ended up returning mine but I just can't remember if it got warm or not. Seems like it did. I'm not an electrical engineer but it did worry me a little bit but then I remembered my Yamaha mg10xu mixer also gets warm after a few minutes of running. I've had my original mg10xu since the end of 2016 and it is still working perfectly. I don't know if this helps you but maybe yours will be just fine in the long run like the Yamaha mixer is. I think it all depends on the engineering and the cooling that they have designed into it. I trust the Yamaha based on my experience but I can't speak to the harbinger because I did not keep it long-term. Hope this helps...

    Could you control the mixer on the speaker with your cellphone or tablet like you can with the EV Evolve?

      No not on that one.

    Not bad for 350 watts RMS.

    Nice thanks for this video! That thing reaches out more than I thought it would especially for being windy outside. And are you able to use another one of these in parallel with this one?

      @JHGurganus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have mine anymore and never tried it but I just pulled up some pictures. Looks like there is a direct out and a link out on the back. I could be wrong but link out may be to get true stereo and direct out is probably just taking the mono signal to another speaker. So my guess is yes you could use another one in parallel by using one of those outputs.

      Why did you sell yours?@@JHGurganus

      @@Retro-Hippie it's been over a year now but I think one of the biggest reasons at the time was because it did not have a master volume on the mixer. I thought I would be fine without it but it would prove to be a pain for two vocals and a guitar (without the master volume).
