I like this front look over the old model. I love the Kia’s design language on their EV lineup

Honestly I think I like almost everything about the facelift. A lot of this is down to individual taste, and it seems to me that there's a lot of negativity from current EV6 owners that are attached to their designs of their vehicles.
First, that matte blue paint is gorgeous. Certain to be just as much of a maintenance nightmare as the satin grey, so if you're buying it you should probably consider finding a good detailer to do a full body ceramic coating immediately. (Honestly you should do that regardless of what paint you get; the EV6 is notorious for having "thin paint", which based on some videos I've seen isn't exactly true, but may as well be because it uses a more environmentally friendly paint which is much less durable and chips and scratches at the drop of a hat. The matte finishes just come with so many extra maintenance concerns to keep up their appearance, so if you're gonna pay extra for it, you should pay extra EXTRA and get it coated and/or filmed.
I have some quibbles with the design of the front on the current EV6 and how it blends with the sculpt of the hood; I think it makes the car look quite ugly from certain angles, and I think the new grille design absolutely knocks it out of the park. I just just like the look of it overall, but that's REALLY subjective.
The changes to the rear are subtle, I don't think it's better or worse than the current EV6, just different. I'm already a big fan of the rear of the EV6, so no issues with me. If you didn't like the rear on it I don't think this would change that. The slight shaping to the rear DRL is necessary to be visually cohesive with the centre DRL that has been added to the front, but I'm mindful that there are some areas like the Australia/New Zealand market where that centre-front DRL in the grille actually won't be included due to being prohibited by quirkes in local road safety legislation. So that rear light will be a bit of an orphaned design element in areas like that.
Now the interior: oh man, what a glowup! You can really tell that Kia's designers have been watching the reviews and reading the owner forums. They straight up went to WAR on the endless number of piano black surfaces in the GT-Line; I don't think I was able to spot a single one, everything was replaced with much nicer brushed finish dark plastic; maybe a faux wood grain? It drives me absolutely nuts with the current EV6 that when you pay more for the GT-line all the totally serviceable fake brushed aluminium surfaces get turned into nasty gloss black that self destructs the moment it leaves the showroom, and I hope this is a sign that this overall design trend from auto manufacturers is about to hit the ground stone dead.
The asymmetric logo position on the steering wheel: I don't love it, but I also don't hate it, and I think it serves a useful purpose. Something I've noticed in the current EV6 and Ioniq 5 is that when maneuvering (say a twisty city driving environment or a squirrely parking situation) it's much easier than expected to lose track of the orientation of the steering wheel because of a combination of the two-spoke wheel design and how direction agnostic the logos are. The Ioniq 4 squares / "morse code H" logo is a nightmare for ths, and Kia's new logo is almost rotationally symmetrical except for the downward stem on the K; the directionality is discernable, but requires a little bit longer to parse and have confidence in than a highly directional logo like the Ford/Mustang logos, for example. Offsetting the logo like they have in the facelift helps mitigate this immensely, and some purposeful asymmetry also helps reinforce the sportier energy the EV6 is trying to convey.
The structural design of the wheel I'm a big fan of. A common complaint on Kia's 2020-2024 vehicles has been that their wheel design and navigation cluster have been mismatched, causing issues with things like the speedometer being consistently obscured. Even in this footage, you can see how this new wheel design gives a much better view of the navigation cluster. I consider that important at all trim levels, but especially so for the trims which don't have a Heads up Display and actually need to rely on the nav cluster alone.
And of course there's now the upgraded infotainment system with (among other improvements) wireless carplay and android auto, as well as hardware links directly into the drive control systems which enable Kia to do additional security features like (what appears to be) biometric authentication to drive via a fingerprint reader near the shifter, or hopefully a PIN to drive update down the line.
I've been looking at purchasing either a used market EV6 or Ioniq 5, but I find this facelift so appealing that I might actually wait for it to arrive and make the infinitely stupider choice of buying new.

Personally, I always thought the front was nice and now even nicer. The interior also looks better now but the back was and is still the weak point of this car. I am not sure why I never liked it. Shame it has not changed. Good car though. Kia is on fire with their design over the last few years. Hats off to them

How sad to do a facelift and still no proper cover on the CCS port ... just the usualy cheap rubber cap. Minor cosmetics, but Toyota has understood it. Great that they got away from the silly "piano plastic" nobody wants, but too many makers put in. Nice, that they stick to physical keys, not touch crap on the steering wheel. If they still only sell these sports seats on the GT later, then I still can't drive it.

The old EV6 GT-line looked so much better in the front, this is just disappointing. Also the steering wheel on this facelift model is a downgrade compared to the pre-facelift

So much time for so little changes. The new rim design is horrible compared to the 19" previous design. The steering wheel and seats are ugly too, bucket seats like the Byd Seal would be ideal for this model. Some more battery means more weight, what about a power increase? Double glass for better soundproof? No? The infotaiment system looks old and laggy. KIA, really? Wtf are you doing?! Chinesse brands are going to win the EV race so easily... I expect a big price drop at least...

I'm getting closer to the fact that I need to return the car to you.
the panel is all shiny from the sun, everything is reflected on the windshield, it is very dangerous when driving.
    the seats are very uncomfortable
