Good introductory video. I seem to jump between a 5 or a 6 weight being the best starter rod for trout fishing. After a while favouring the 5 weight I am fishing the 6 more and more for general trout fishing eg a nymph suspended under a dry fly. I think I may be wrong…
Cheers Paul! Both a 5 and 6 weight are perfect for trout fishing, finding a rod that your comfortable with and getting out and using it is the most important thing.
Just a tip I’m watching this series and it’s great but the videos are in reverse order on the playlist. Have to manually press previous video to watch in order. Would be amazing if you swapped the order around
