Good luck Josh - I’m looking forward to the next video already. XJs are beautiful cars - I’m sure that you will make this one look great again. Please keep including lots of mechanical details in your videos - we armchair mechanics love all of that! Peter
Best of luck with your nightmare/dream resto… I finished a S3 V12 just over two years ago. Never have I undertaken a project where so much damage is linked so closely via rust. Never again.
Great video, top tip, label every single nut and bolt even if you’re replacing with new as a guide to what goes where. You will NOT remember in a few weeks or months time, I only started doing that towards the end of my strip down so the start of re assembly went really quick and easy and the last bits I hadn’t labelled very slowly , there are so many different bolt lengths and threads that Jaguar use and as you probably know, Jaguar says why use two bolts when 15 will do? Good luck
Subscribed! Working with my son on a '77 coupe (XJ6) at the moment, no restomod plans, but curious to see what your plans are. Good luck with the build and thanks for sharing!👊
Owned an XJ in the 80’s, great car but everything broke and even the rust rusted, appalling build quality even for its time. Your ‘to do’ list will be massive and very costly.
The serial 2 was the best looker of the xj's especially the coupe
Yes I would love a coupe one day 😍
I’ve had two of the coupes years ago. Drove beautiful. Lovery looking cars still. ❤
Do it right dude, I’m so stoked to see what you’re gonna do. I had a XJ 6L I loved it.
