This is the coolest thing ever! THANK YOU! This video made life so much easier! Before i downloaded After effects my friend once asked me to add text to an intro template. I used to edit all my videos in photoshop so i did it there. I had the crazy idea of the letters being drawn in in a thin green line. I made the text, made outer glow, rasterized the layer, deleted all the colors that weren't meant to be there (had to delete a lot of pixels on my own by hand because photoshop isn't perfect) then i had to make 5 copies of the damned text and delete a bit less each time. That took me like an hour or something. With this it only takes a minute! THANK YOU! I didn't even realize auto trace was a thing!

! In the SaberFX Settings ! (you should have applied that to your logo)
go to -> render settings ,
there you will see a setting called composite settings,
change that to transparent.

What is the key to add keyframe in after effects
in 0 second go to End Offset and click at the round logo next to the text of (End Offset) then it will be adding keyframe
It is the clickable button next to the effect, that looks like a stopwatch.

whenever I import a image and add the saber plugin, it makes the image box visible. (its transparent)

Just found out how to do it! Just paste the mask on a solid and then use the saber!

So i tried to make my own "logo" with Gimp. Its finished, just a simple Text. I put it into AE, precomposed, did exacly the same but i dont see anything when i click on auto trace. Can you help me?
it happend to me i just changed the channel
its a bit of a pain but the same thing happened here. you have to use the pen tool and mask out your logo then add saber and make the core type layer mask
Idk if you still have the problem but you have to change the channel to Lumanance and you have to click on preview ( you can’t see it until you press ok )

A friend did have to help me out over the phone because my logo included text and the text didn't become part of the comp when I imported it. So he advised me to throw in the tint pulg in effect, to make both colors white, then apply the auto trace you showed. After that, the auto trace applyed to both the text and logo. I then discarted the tint effect. Your tutorial was awesome, though. Thank you!!!
