The Impact is on the weapon not the unit, page 30 of the rule reference "If a unit performs an attack using multiple weapons that have the impact x keyword and those weapons contribute dice to the same attack pool, the x values of each impact x keyword are cumulative. For example, a unit that performs an attack using both a weapon that has impact 1 and a weapon that has impact 2 contribute dice to the attack pool, that attack is treated as using a weapon that has impact 3 which allows that unit to change up to three hit () results to critical () results." If each biker chooses to fire their main weapon, they are contributing 1 red, 1 black and Impact 1 to the attack pool. It's the same as Impact Grenades

I believe that the army which has the lowest amount of points get to decide if they want to be blue or red. Each have their own pros-cons so being able to pick is pretty cool
Blue gets to pick the side of the table they want to setup on but they have to place the first unit. Red gets to cancel the last objective card during the setup mini game. Depending on how you build your army, either of these choices could be powerful

Shadow trooper armour! Great game guys. Love the table and terrain. On that swamp Matt with those big trees seems like you could do a good daggobah theme if you get rid of the buildings.

Are you thinking to do another battlereport with this game? Was is your view of the game? I´m thinking to buy the core box and start from there.

at 40:31 I dont believe the 1 inch rule you made here was accurate. the only thing i can find on units being close to each other was on page 16 of the RRG and it says "Friendly minis from different units cannot be in base contact with each other" but other than touching i can not find anything that restricts them from being super close to each other. so i could be wrong about this but i find it odd they would have a 1 inch rule in a game that doesnt use measuring tapes

That's three actions. Seriously.
the speeder has cover1, to clarify,...not because of terrain but because it says on the card. Also supression improves cover, cover can not be improved past heavy cover, plus dlt19 has impact 1. you have to read the WHOLE CARD
Not only do Speeder Bikes have Impact 1, EACH bike gets impact 1 :)

I'm pretty sure when measuring range you measure from your leader to any model in the target unit, not just their leader.

melee combat negate the cover 1 special rule, as well as all other cover. Something i noticed when luke engaged the bikes in combat.

Doesn't the Air speeder have a one automatic evade? Vader hit him twice and the evade did not apply?
I think they got the attack sequence mixed up and applied Vaders impact 3 before the cover from the speeder
