Literally the BEST reverb I've ever heard in a plugin.... and I've had the lucky fortune of hearing my voice through the real chambers in Capitol studios, real EMT plates and a few hardware Bricasti's. What I love just as much as Seventh Heaven's sound is the user interface. It's so easy to use and intuitive! Thank you Liquid Sonics for making my life easier and my mixing more fun! @liquidsonics
Wow I came here to read the comments and couldn’t be more disappointed lol. I actually thought this was one of the better product demos I’ve seen in a while. I’ll admit to not being super keen to check out a reverb demo in 2019, but the verb does sound nice and the gentleman was actually a fantastic presenter and made the argument for their space against common options. I’m sure there are plenty of sound demos for us to check out or a demo of the plugin to really run it through it’s paces. He did a great job of illustrating the power of their modulation. Thanks Sonicstate!
Absolutely, I've been trying to find proper demo videos to listen to while I'm working, since I'm very interested in purchasing a natural smooth sounding reverb. This is the first one that explained everything and played out the dry and wets and now I'm sold!
Bricasti is above 10 years old and it is PC inside with powerful chips. I don't believe it isn't possible to make good reverb with todays power computer. Also, vocals sound pretty good on any modern plugin reverb. The show begins when you put orchestral samples thru or synths.
I have the small version which I really like. Great, simple user interface, easy to get a good sound. Perfect if you don’t want to get lost in parameter hell.
"Parameter Hell" is right! I love keeping things simple. That's why I don't use things like the Fabfilter Pro-L. WAY too many things to have to remember. If you forget anything, you're missing essential things in the process. Keep it SIMPLE, and less headache-y. LOL!
I bought the cheaper version of Seventh Heaven, and it's all I need. It sounds so amazing!!! I really love plate reverbs, and this plugin has the best sounding plates... well, best sounding EVERYTHING! Also, it's ESSENTIAL to be able to roll off the low end, to get rid of mud. I guess that's standard on reverb plugins now, but I just thought I'd mention it.
cresshead it’s funny, I loved my spx90, but I feel like I’ve spent a lifetime choosing verbs that do everything it didn’t do! But I still miss that sound on drums for sure!
sonicstate iLok Cloud in turn necessitates being always online; either you buy a $50 dongle or you can’t work when your ISP is down, or mix/produce on-the-go without internet access. In modeling the Bricasti M7, LiquidSonics’ target audience is likely bigger budget studios where the gear will always be in one place, but invasive & expensive DRM is all that’s keeping someone like me from purchasing this immediately. As someone who had nearly my entire studio burglarized, I’ve been turning to plug-ins as a means of having a virtual studio I can take anywhere and never lose. iLok does not fit into that model for me.
@@dkyx That wasn't my intention. They remarked on an alternative way to use iLok, I elaborated on why that isn't for me. As for the motivation behind my initial comment, it was to let others in the comments know an iLok was required. Perhaps Liquid Sonics will consider other DRM methods in the future. I'm disappointed in its implementation in this plug-in, but I don't hold ill will towards them (or Nick).

Incredible warm and natural reverb sounds! Beautiful, I bought it!
I'm not sold on all this algo vs IR vs their Fusion-IR. The Bricasti IS an algo based reverb so it's easy to understand that good algo can be made.

@@MathHammer your computer would probably die trying to calculate the algorithms as the hardware does
Sounds like heaven to me

and I thought I knew what a reverb was before I watched this video. Dunning Kruger in full effect I think...

PsyneticSound ikr. They’re a bit bland, these old men
2 of my favorite audio giants discussing reverb! what's not to love?
Rutger Hauer and Phil Silvers, ladies and gentleman! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
You mean Andy Parsons and Phil Silvers. 😅

it took me the entire episode to figure out where I heard that voice before. thanks for the great podcast Julien!
I do have this and like it for more plate sounds that do not need to sound vintage. Good on synths for shorter reverbs.
must get
Liquidsonics: Seventh Heaven
Nick: Underground bunker. lol
When are you going to review the Behringer K2 (= Korg MS20 clone)? Without the manufacturer present, please.
Sounds really good
95%Dry/5%Wet. Less talking, more reverb please. Lets hear some presets. It's a Presentation! C'mon. 😫
way too much blathering indeed, the dude was boring af, and completely failed to make the product attractive
Said the man who likes Kit Kat clocks. Says it all.
@@russhughes7 what a retort, really destroyed me, lol.
I mean, I liked it, it’s not really that style of video, there are different valid styles of production
Whats the song used in the demonstration?
This is brilliant, really

Or an ilok account

The non pro version is $69 and will fit 99% of your needs if not 100%. My sole issue with it is iLok. I don't want any of that on my machine.
1. Let Liquidsonics guy talk to point.
2. Last thing were here for is guy with glasses unnecessary input..
3.LET THE DAMN PLUGIN PLAY MORE!!
Sooooo much talking! Can’t even find a part where I can hear the reverb. Terrible name for a reverb as well! Reminds me of that Christian sitcom.
15 mn of completely useless and boring blathering. Waste of time.
