You're overthinking it. I've been flavoring my own stogies for years with my own method. I like bourbon, coffee, vanilla, with a touch of orange. I like those cheap J&M Maduros, 6x32. I just put an eighth of a teaspoon of each flavor, plus another eighth of the vanilla, in a tupperware with two cigars at a time. I rotate the tupperware to coat both cigars, and leave it in a cabinet. I prep two at a time, and smoke them on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Leave it in there for a few days with the cellophane off and the band removed. When you're ready, take a cigar out, and let it air for about 30 minutes. The stiff, dry cigar has become softer, moister, with great hand and mouth feel, and the smoke is rich, fragrant and delicious. I've had people come up to me and say "That cigar smells amazing!"
Where can you get the flavoring or how do you make it. I love vanilla flavor. I want to flavor my fronto wrap leafs. Help plz, im a noob in cigar world
Curious if any type of alcohol would work. I have been wanting to experiment with some whiskey and rum for sure but I also wanted to try some twisted tea and other beverages I enjoy to go it a little more flavor.
@@jasonstopsign I have not attempted it yet. I am currently working with some Black velvet apple. So far the shot of whiskey is going down but rather slowly at that
amazing video, i wanted to buy some cheap cigars and make my own mix of flavors. cloves, cinnamon, coffee, honey, scotch, bourbon, cognac some natural weeds(not that weed) and things like that. thank you very much for this one
🔴🔴🔴 Pardon my ignorance in asking this question.... I have always watched cigar collectors and affectionados keep their cigars in humidors to protect and age their tobacco. Now my question concerns their blending the different brands in the same system box. I think by mixing the cigars in the same humidor will change the flavoring tastes by the time when one selects one to smoke. So then how can we get the true taste since each is feeding and withdrawing flavors from all the other stored in the box? Shouldn’t each brand have its own humidor?
That was interesting and something to keep in mind! My initial thought is, I will just enjoy a glass of whisky or brandy or port with my cigar😊. I buy all my cigars from Havana Castle! Klaus
I have a couple unused 50 count humidors. My question is could I use one of those instead of the plastic container? Also if I can should I also throw in a humidipak for moisture as well or just the shot glass? Also I am assuming that we shouldn't use full bodied cigars.
Get a 2 gallon, zip bag and put it inside your 50 count Humidor. It will work just nicely and you can add more cigars. Obviously the more Cigars the longer it has to sit.
So it's really that easy damn I've been having a hell of a time trying to find the ones I use to smoke they were vinilla cream ones boy were they good I wish u could find them again
I put chunks of chocolate fresh roasted nuts and coffee beans in the container. Then once a week i give each cigar a 1/4 turn i do that for 8 weeks they come out amazballs i get all kinds of compliments
This go round im using quarum maduro 6x60 wanted to try something new usually use anything conetticut and cheap enough that it wont hurt my feelings if they come out like crap and i toss em ill let you know how this batch comes out i got about 4 -6 more weeks
@@jamescarter5417 thanks and I know a place with house blend style for 3 bucks a stick, that's probably what i was gonna use just wanted to ask, and definitely let me know how it goes. And how many do you place in the tubaware containers
I would dry box the cigars for a couple of days first, cut them and pour the whisky on a small plate instead of a shot glass just like you do when you season a humidor.
what i dont understand is why people say perfect humidors and the perfect humidity levels are so important, if they're also ok for a month in a plastic container with a shotglass next to them. Either the numbers are necessary or they arent
you can make this in 3 days, if you use toilet paper. Just get longer case, put topacco (etc.) rear and taste (vanilla...) front, and put that containor at +24c. Topacco (etc.) sould be at +10c. You can use the temperature to change flavour density, strongnes, milkynes.. 12h on the table / 12h on the fridge. Take cold topacco and warm flavour on the same box (smoky). Freezy fast, then vlavour. inside like normal, outside sweetnes
So I'm thinking the cigars in the bottom will have all the taste cause u didn't lift the cigars up with anything to keep them from soaking up all the wiskey. And what about the label? Did u have any issues with placing the labels in the liquid? Just very curious how it all turned out.
Might I "flavor" by big, plain Tampas with confectionary's sugar? What does Bill Clinton mean when he says, "I like mine dipped"? Also, don't forget to "burp" the plastic Tupperware.
Just like putting sauce on a Sirloin, to make an inferior steak palatable. If you won't pay the price difference for a good cigar. There is no harm in saucing up those dog rockets, to make them taste different.
@@mdauer more mellowed out. Not too noticeable a difference probably because they are already sweet. I did this once with a Monte Cristo #4 and some cognac and the difference was more pronounced
It's not your fault Mitch, it's mine - for being stupid enough to take your advice despite my better judgement. Have the decency to take this video down please.
Can you help me with flavoring? I want to know how to do it correctly. I dont really have knowledge in the cigar world. Im basically trying to make a grape or vanilla flavored fronto leaf 2 roll with. How would i do that?

Lmao posting this exact comment more then once is pathetic
You should do video
Loved this video, found it really informative. My only question is what if you wanted to do something like Irish Cream or Mocha flavored ?
MrSniperdude01 I have done those too... wonderful!
Thank you for this!!! All the places i go to like you said they hate on anything flavored. I love them.
that’s awesome! i would do a shot glass full of vanilla extract
Try cinnamon also
Vanilla extract isn't sweet until it is sweetened.

Will this work with vanilla as well?
Did the cigars pick up the flavoring after the four week?
Did it work
Would you suggest taping it shut, or putting it in a freezer bag to seal it?
Thank you~ for Xmas I’m trying to put together a cigar infusing basket for my husband.
Could I use glass? Like mason jar to infuse?
Did it work?
What if I threw a boveda pack in there as well? Should I leave it or remove it??
I'm interested to know was there a link for the the result❓

Okay, so a couple shot glasses of coffee, add cigars and age for one month. I'm set.

Vinny Cerbo yes you can. I am no longer affiliated with Havana Castle, and I will record a follow up shortly. No humidipak is required. -MDG

probably not

you can use any liquid apple juice soda etc but alcohol works best specially spirits any spirit goes
port wine works great
Yes.. Richard's Wild Irish Rose
