perhaps its because kabuto did somthing to his body, kabuto did say he did somthing special to his body, maybe making him stronger than he was in his glory days like he said and gave him enough chakra to gain his youth. we saw nagato become young again once he absorbed chakra from killer b so its possible kabuto was able to make him young.

To answer those who wonder why tobirama cannot release break Edo tensei control or since he knows the hand sign, Oro use hashirama cell to bind the movement. No movement, no handsigns. But he can't bind the GoS himself. It's his cell. So the GoS can break free anytime.
Tobirama is awesome but people just complain that "hE's a RaciSt" lol. In fact, he's wary and paranoid of the Uchiha clan because he has spent half his life at war with them, and they rival with the Senju as the most powerful clans. He's one of, if not, the only non-Uchiha to actually understand how the Sharingan works and how it poses a threat through heightened emotions. And I mean he's not wrong considering 3 of the main antagonists of the series who wanted world domination were UCHIHA lol, his character is simply more stern because he was influenced by both Hahirama's and Madara's personalities.
He is a G tho. He literally had every non-Kage in the room shitting themselves by lifting a single finger 😂
Tobirama is a lame, spending his whole life scared of what’s not there. His practices and Danzo’s, one of his subordinates, are what lead to 99% of the problems the uchiha and leaf village had. And nobody was scared of that wussy especially after he was spanked and binded by just orochimaru
