    I have watched this about 5 times already, and here I am watching it again, these old documentaries are great, I was still a baby 🍼 in pakistan when this program was filmed.

    "Coming onto the M11 we were confronted by roadworks". "This lorry pulled out in front of us." Welcome to SE England, 25 years on nothing has changed.

      Still the same roadworks too. 😂

      That is not quite accurate, the increase of cars plays a factor and then we have the axle weights being increased from 34 tonne to 44 tonnes in only 12 years. It was originally 28 to 30 tonnes in the 70s and 80s.. Roads needed stronger mixes of asphalt applied, preferably before the weight increases.

    Guess how much this all cost her America, zilch, zero, nada. In our country we believe that if all that work can afford to pay into a insurance plan we would all rather pay into a national health system, where the money is used when and where needed and if we need it one day, we don't have some insurance scam company deciding what we can or cant have. No one in our country has to work until the day they die past retirement age to to cover medical conditions, no one has to decide which limb can be saved due to insurance only covering the choice of one to be saved. We don't have to worry about $5,000 for an ambulance in an emergency, we don't loose our home for a hospital bill and most definitely don't require health insurance for a newborn baby. We have it great in our country!

    Amazing and astonishing to watch from start to finish.. that traffic police driver in the Rover SD1 must have been exhausted and worn out with all that high speed driving…. And it was all done in a car built by BL.. who says BL cars were unreliable, especially the Rover SD1 model ….

      it's just a shame the police camera action version of the liver run used fake dubbed audio. The engine noises, radio chatter, the lot. It's fake. I've seen the unedited version on Police stop! before it was removed from youtube and it's far and away a better watch. The telling thing is these SD1s had three speed autos. Listen to the gear changes in this.

      @@SPTSuperSprinter156 Same for "Cops" and any show that had John Walsh as a host. Those stupid real life Fox Cop shows freaking sucked in the audio department.

    Editing is a disaster here, like if it's an episode of "The World's Wildest Police Chases"! Like at 4:04 you hear a cheap American siren recording from the late 80s that was used in movies like "National Security" and "Beverly Hills Cop 3"!

    • @TheBadBunny87
      @TheBadBunny87 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's called a yelper siren. You can hear the officer later in the video "I had the whaler siren going and the car behind had the yelper siren going hoping that'll be enough for pedestrians to know there were two police cars".

      @@TheBadBunny87 I know it's a yelp, but like I said, that recording at the timestamp I provided originally came from a catalog of prerecorded sounds. Yeah, they do exist in Vinyl, digital and in CD form.

    Is that a Pontiac Trans-Am at 14:14?

    • @shaneharrisnj3484
      @shaneharrisnj3484 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope, that's a Pontiac Formula Firebird. Trans-Ams were from 1977-02.

      The top speed of the Rover SD1 V8 was 135. So they were ringing its neck. 120mph is right on the cars limit. So not sure what you're finding funny.

    The fake siren noises they edit into these programs really annoys me! I managed 5 minutes of that crap but I'm off.

      Good luck with the 1998 Fox TV show, "The World's Wildest Police Chases" with Sheriff John Bonnell... His voice is iconic, but the sound editing is very blatant.
