The Crew 2 is still getting new content every week. It’s seems like the game came out just a few months ago with the amount of support and content it’s getting. New cars, new tracks, new game modes, all kind of goodies. It feels so good.
I'm considering to play it, but after I played the trial version of the game, I just don't like the handling and it seems it has a bad optimization (I've got an i5, gtx1050, 12gb of ram and it lags so much)
@@Jordan-xx9ux I havent bought any microtransactions so yeah, and the best way to earn and level up is farming ny, which takes close to 30 minutes, and you have to do it 7 times to buy a proper hypercar, don't come here and say its got anything to do with skill, cause the driving system in tc2 is an arcade and easy driver, you moron.
heat has just the way better sound and tuning, bring some playlist with you and you can have hours of pure fun, in forza i feel like i spend more time in menus than in game

I actually had a ton of fun playing NFS Heat! Switching tires and other parts to go for drifting or racing is pretty cool, also the map is full of stuff to do and challenges, also completing them you get iconic cars like Paul Walker's Skyline. The only downside to it is that 1 out of 2 times the game is launched it can suffer from terrible stuttering and slow-mo like issues, which aren't fixed up to this day, the game isn't getting fixes anymore...

Rockstar would rather make car models of fictional cars that look real than paying the car companies to frature their licensed vehicles. Man... Heat’s open world was pretty lifeless. It was the least awful of all the new NFS games but definitely didn’t deserve the #1 spot on this list in my opinion.
Not just lifeless, the AI is terrible, racer AI is on a set track and won't avoid collision, traffic AI randomly swerves and stops for no reason, not to mention every road that intersects is treated like a 4 way stop, plus spawning right in front of you, game is beautiful graphically and is a lot of fun, but does leave a lot to be desired.
The Arma series has some fun driving in them. Especially in first person on PC if you have TrackIR. Being able to look around while in first person is pretty awesome. With Arma coming to console, maybe they'd find a way to bring that feature along for the ride. The more developers that put head tracking in their games, the better for us gamers.
I'll probably come back and rewatch this video 10+ more times until I figure out what game to play next XD. So many good ones. Thanks for taking time to make it! Cheers
Burnout Paradise will always have a special place in my heart. It was one of only two games I could play at one point because my PS3 broke, discs didn't work they'd always freeze. The two games were, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (which was weird cause it was the disc version) and Burnout Paradise (which I had downloaded). I played that game for at least 4 months, I was always trying to complete the challenges in-game to get the carbon cars. Loved the playlist, the openness, and the atmosphere it was a great game.

All I care about in a racing game is the level of detail and number of options to customise your cars, also car roster should be substantial enough not to get bored of driving the same cars over and over. I would prefer Codemasters' driving mechanics over the arcade-type.
Have you tried beamNG yet? I haven't really played any other driving games, so I don't know how it compares to other games, but it has a ton of customization, even without mods

I'm not much into racing games, but I do recommend The Crew 2. It has an activities list on the main menu where you can choose what to do, so if you don't want to explore the open world at all, you don't have to.
To me, the crew 2 is very underrated. They are doing constant updates, events and the map is HUUGE. it's counted as one of the biggest maps in gaming history. Recommend! 👍
The crew 2 is amazing, the only thing that would make it better is if they added more cars to the game, cars that a person would see on the road irl (1 series, e class, range rovers)
Honestly, My favourite open world racing game is Forza Horizon 2. It was the thing that got me into Cars and Top Gear which are two things that literally made me who I am. The music on Horizon Pulse and Bass Arena inspired my current music chocies to this day 6 years later.
Even though the open world was a bit lifeless, I really wanted to see Fuel on this list. A great game to just load up sometimes and run through the wide open wilderness and see what you can find.

The Crew 2 is underrated in my opinion. It's fun, it has a lot of features, it has a lot of cars that you can customize, the map is the USA itself, it has a lot of challenges and etc.
If a racing game gets nfs's cops and customizations and nitrous and gets a mixure of nfs heat and nfs 2015 night time and nfs night time races with forza day time graphics and forza cars and forza drifting and forza day time races with the crew 2 map would make a perfect racing game
Was pleasantly surprised to see My Summer Car on here. It's quite different from everything else on this list. The other thing about MSC is that if you die, you lose all your progress, and have to start over again from scratch. I know these are not racing games, but I think Euro Truck Simulator 2 & American Truck Simulator both deserve a mention. The former features a map that runs from Portugal to the UK to western Russia to western Turkey to Sicily (soon to be expanded further!). The latter is (roughly) the western third of mainland USA (with expansions coming soon!).
Gotta say FH4 is one of my favourite games ever (not only driving), and I have over 300+ games played throughout 25 years.. The DLCs are tons of fun and the details of the world and cars are ridiculous.. Also Burnout Paradise, Driver SF and Midnight Club have a special place in my heart
They should just smash 1 & 2 together, call it the FULL UNDERGRUND MEGA-AWESOME-COOL-REMASTER. Why? Because it would be all of that and much more. And to top it off, take the best stuff from the other NFS games and make a good NFS again. My childhood was NFS and im kinda lost after Canyon cuz the rest (exception the latest most wanted, but it was kinda meh compared) of the NFS games just lost that NFS magic :( f'ing love that they made the remake on this list tho, it will 100% be the next game i save up for

I've played burnout Paradise, The Crew, TDU2, do I need to go on? I like racing games. This is mostly opinion based, but I think objectively Forza Horizon 4 is the best racing game I've ever played. And I know lots of people that would agree.
I feel like even though they tried to cover a lot of ground with wha time of driving game there is, there should also be some sort of mention of Test Drive Unlimited 2, any of the midnight clubs, and MOST importantly, Underground 2!
I'll always be a hardcore burnout fan. Played paradise city as a kid and I still go back to it regularly just because it's my all time favorite racing game.

Midnight Club: Dub Edition, Test Drive Unlimited, NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, NFS UnderGround 2 and Forza 4, these are the best open world racers ive played and now that ive just swapped from PS to Xbox, im going to enjoy some of these older racers for the first time in a long time.
While each of those games deserves to be on the list, but I can see the merit of only having one on the list. Yes, I am well aware that there is more than 1 NFS on the list, but it's not quite the same thing.

This is definitely one that many viewers will be too young to know about but the open world driving game that started it all for me was Driver on the PS1. Damn that intro where the noise of someone walking through the parking lot and the engine starting up... what a game.

GTA is my fav always. Burnout used to be so much fun playing with a gang., just taking turns for high scores and work towards getting new rides. Midnight club was awesome, the handling was so cool .
Need For Speed: Underground 2 is the best one for me. Still play it every now and then, last weekend was the last time I started a new save. One hell of a game.
I recently bought a sim racing cockpit with all the bells and whistles and it's the most fun toy I've ever bought! Totally changes the game when it comes to driving games, and with vr it's even more awesome. Glad I tried it out because now I'm hooked on racing games lol
My son wants a setup for Forza. I told him he'd have to choose between a real car at 16 and a college education after that OR a setup now. Little guy didn't miss a beat. "Woot!!! I get to actually drive Barn Finds!!!" May be easier just to buy him the crap than work on his sarcasm detector.

For me out of all the games I've tried, I prefer the feedback and feel in this order: Assetto Corsa>Beamng.drive>Dirt Rally 2.0>Wreckfest>Forza Horizon 4> Project Cars 2/Automobilista 2. This is after loads of tweaking settings and stuff, but overall I think forza does well with the right settings. Need for Speed Heat is probably the worst game in terms of feel of the feedback that I have tried
@@supermalevitality8532 oh yeah forgot about project cars, that one is absolutely horrid gotta agree, and haven’t tried heat since I abandoned it by the time they added wheel support. My main issue with horizon is that it can get a bit tiring since you have to do significantly more fast movements than usual sims so I prefer using a controller with it instead, but I get your point, enjoy what you find most fun, that’s what matters in the end :)

Ive played almost all of these except for snow runner and the crew 2 is the one i love most and i think it should of placed higher but to each their own.
The midnight club games, TDU 1 & 2, TXR games, Fast and furious tokyo drift, FH1-3, the Chroroq ps2 games, midtown madness games, Street racing Syndicate and the older nfs games are a few i can name.

I'm not much into racing games, but I do recommend The Crew 2. It has an activities list on the main menu where you can choose what to do, so if you don't want to explore the open world at all, you don't have to.
Is it better than the original crew? Loved that game but haven't played the sequel yet

To me, the crew 2 is very underrated. They are doing constant updates, events and the map is HUUGE. it's counted as one of the biggest maps in gaming history. Recommend! 👍

Honestly, My favourite open world racing game is Forza Horizon 2. It was the thing that got me into Cars and Top Gear which are two things that literally made me who I am. The music on Horizon Pulse and Bass Arena inspired my current music chocies to this day 6 years later.

Even though the open world was a bit lifeless, I really wanted to see Fuel on this list. A great game to just load up sometimes and run through the wide open wilderness and see what you can find.

Was pleasantly surprised to see My Summer Car on here. It's quite different from everything else on this list. The other thing about MSC is that if you die, you lose all your progress, and have to start over again from scratch.
I know these are not racing games, but I think Euro Truck Simulator 2 & American Truck Simulator both deserve a mention. The former features a map that runs from Portugal to the UK to western Russia to western Turkey to Sicily (soon to be expanded further!). The latter is (roughly) the western third of mainland USA (with expansions coming soon!).

And to top it off, take the best stuff from the other NFS games and make a good NFS again. My childhood was NFS and im kinda lost after Canyon cuz the rest (exception the latest most wanted, but it was kinda meh compared) of the NFS games just lost that NFS magic :( f'ing love that they made the remake on this list tho, it will 100% be the next game i save up for

I've played burnout Paradise, The Crew, TDU2, do I need to go on? I like racing games. This is mostly opinion based, but I think objectively Forza Horizon 4 is the best racing game I've ever played. And I know lots of people that would agree.

I really don't agree with NFS Heat being higher then Forza Horizon 4 but my opinion dosen't count so yeah.
In terms of fun I think NFS heat is more fun than Horizon 4. But a better game overall is forza horizon 4

Yea, Forza isn't perfect but it's miles better than NFS Heat. Hell, i'd rank GTA V & Burnout Paradise above Heat too.
I've always loved nfs hot pursuit because I'm from Oregon and the scenery is pretty accurate
Midnight Club: Dub Edition, Test Drive Unlimited, NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, NFS UnderGround 2 and Forza 4, these are the best open world racers ive played and now that ive just swapped from PS to Xbox, im going to enjoy some of these older racers for the first time in a long time.

This is definitely one that many viewers will be too young to know about but the open world driving game that started it all for me was Driver on the PS1. Damn that intro where the noise of someone walking through the parking lot and the engine starting up... what a game.

GTA is my fav always. Burnout used to be so much fun playing with a gang., just taking turns for high scores and work towards getting new rides. Midnight club was awesome, the handling was so cool .
Need For Speed: Underground 2 is the best one for me. Still play it every now and then, last weekend was the last time I started a new save. One hell of a game.
I recently bought a sim racing cockpit with all the bells and whistles and it's the most fun toy I've ever bought! Totally changes the game when it comes to driving games, and with vr it's even more awesome. Glad I tried it out because now I'm hooked on racing games lol

For me out of all the games I've tried, I prefer the feedback and feel in this order: Assetto Corsa>Beamng.drive>Dirt Rally 2.0>Wreckfest>Forza Horizon 4> Project Cars 2/Automobilista 2. This is after loads of tweaking settings and stuff, but overall I think forza does well with the right settings. Need for Speed Heat is probably the worst game in terms of feel of the feedback that I have tried
@@supermalevitality8532 oh yeah forgot about project cars, that one is absolutely horrid gotta agree, and haven’t tried heat since I abandoned it by the time they added wheel support.
My main issue with horizon is that it can get a bit tiring since you have to do significantly more fast movements than usual sims so I prefer using a controller with it instead, but I get your point, enjoy what you find most fun, that’s what matters in the end :)

The original NFS: Most Wanted is the single greatest car game of all time, mostly because of how absolutely perfect the police chases were.
It's fun for the first 5 hours but if you try to finish it, the game will break you

Ive played almost all of these except for snow runner and the crew 2 is the one i love most and i think it should of placed higher but to each their own.
The midnight club games, TDU 1 & 2, TXR games, Fast and furious tokyo drift, FH1-3, the Chroroq ps2 games, midtown madness games, Street racing Syndicate and the older nfs games are a few i can name.
The crew 2 is honestly such an easy platinum AND fun as hell
