Yeah, there was a huge world wide push by fans to revive it, and luckily Netflix realized it's potential and picked it up. Hopefully people will support it as strongly in views as they did to get it brought back so we have many more seasons!

They're a shit company full of greedy rules, they want to bottom-of-the-barrel any shred of actual talent so that the concept of the show gets sold and they can just pump out cheap shit to sell to the masses until it inevitably runs into the ground. And when actual brilliant talent and writing comes along they'll run it for an overly conservative number of seasons until they cancel it hardcore and reap in the benefit of people tuning in to re-runs.
Or they're run by a bunch of degenerate old farts who don't understand what's good.

All depends on how well season 4 does. If the support that was shown to bring it back from cancellation continues in views on Netflix, then I have no doubt we'll get many more seasons (I certainly hope so personally). I know it is it's own thing from the comic series upon which it's loosely based, but there's so much rich lore from those novels, so I really hope they use some of it and put their own twist on it.

The fans kept asking for Netflix to pick it up right from when the problems started and they were fighting for the show to live. Lucifer has done it, I guess. He went to Netflix's headquarters and influenced everyone there to take the show, even the intern. xD

To me, why I like this show, is that it reminds me of how we all deal with the Devil every day. I also think that Lucifer is more of a version of Loki than an all out evil guy.
