I have enjoyed this franchise in the past, but in this one it felt like they were more interested in doing a bunch of minion shorts and threw in a thin storyline for Gru to make it a feature length movie. I didn’t hate it, but I instantly forgot about it. Kids will love though, and I guess thats what matters. Great review!
Great review! I'm hearing a lot of similar points when it comes to this film. As someone who lost track of the franchise, it doesn't seem like something that would draw me back into it at all, but seems like more of the same.
We didn't grow up with it, so it didn't pull us in. But our kiddos and the generation after them still adore the minions and all they bring. Thank you so much tuning in!

I never watched any of the Despicable Me movies! This looks so cute! Good to know about the young ones attention to the movie. It's definitely hard to keep my 2 year olds attention! Loved the surprise mini mod feature! W review

My favorite Despicable Me movie was the first one. After that the minions drove me crazy and I had to check out. Great review as usual

The first one was solid, but its their bread and butter as a studio for sure. Feel like the generation before our kiddos is the true target.

I was not a fan of this installment. I wanted to like it, but nah bruh🤣at least one of the kids enjoyed it haha
With them growing up with it, makes sense. Definitely could of gone without it.
