Hey Logan. On my VRD my rear shocks are angled. I made carbon spacers for the original location and swapped shock balls to regular ones. They mounted to the far edge. I used another spacer on the rail to prevent no binding when flexed. Looks pretty cool.
Had these about a month and I love them. Less wheel hop than alot of other tires. I've been told to run them backwards, so I may try that. Though I doubt it's better. Love your channel!
You perfectly described what I am repairing on my daughter's Capra after a hard hit to rear steering axle. Keep up the great content. Hope to meet you at Pro-Line by the Fire. 😊
The Azteks look promising! Also, if you're going to keep your drag axle Capra, consider grabbing a rear link riser. That, paired with the Deez bands, helped my Capra tackle the steep lines that it used to struggle with. As always, great video Logan!
I’m changing my third front axle housing in my 4ws Capra build!! lol I’m glad I found your TH-cam channel I would never have thought of doing this build or a couple others without your knowledge!
Have u ever considered the Radiolink RC8X? The ergonomics aren’t bad the rear steer is on side behind ur normal steering makes it easy to use both simultaneously and it has unlimited programming. I highly recommend it. Pretty sure Connor or is it Cameron is using one now too…BTW it’ll hold 200 vehicles in memory too
I love everything you put out. Period. I would love to see, if you own one still, like a comparison over the evolution of crawlers. I guess it was around 06-07, when Josh made the old TCS x trail chassis. Had one, with the ax10 build. Aevox maybe, brushless outrunner in it and some proline flat iron 2.2s. Had the original Rubicon body from proline on it. At the time, thing worked great. Full droop set up... just wonder how that would compare today???
I’ve heard good things about this tire. Maybe I’ll put them on my wife’s Capra. BTW, what happened to your tire comparison series. Was looking forward to seeing how it was going to turn out.
Cool vid, once again. Thanks. I run two drag axle Capras, one with your 3 link kit and AR45 portals. Love them both other than the Axial never wants to work right dig in one. 3 gear, Reefs or Nod trans coming soon. And your Capra mids video is a great tool! I was disappointed in the Treps, forward traction on flat climbs just wasn't there and they wash side to side. May try these. Love the conformity I am seeing with the Squids, such good inserts. I move my shocks out on all my rigs, usually just linger shock screws and spacers. These mounts look interesting.
I still have my Capra builders kit drag axle build. I’ve never had a four wheel steer vehicle although I plan to build one based on the we rock RC rules.
I started having GT5 steering issues after about 2 years of use. At first I was able to fix it by pulling out on the wheel a bit, seems like carrying it in a backpack forced it in a little. Now it’s just glitchy in spots no matter what. They sell the steering component separately but it’s likely a pain to replace. Still less work than copying over a bunch of rigs to a new GT5 though.
😂 I know what you mean about those odd spots that look easy, but no matter what you do it pushes you around into a jam up spot. I had to rebuild a course I made cause it was driving me nuts, I perfectly made the whole course that way.. lol
Well brother I got about five of those gt5s you're more than welcome to them have you looked at the radio link rc4gs pretty cheap remote and there's a knob like right above the back of your thumb
Always like how you describe what's going on with the truck/traction as you drive, Logan. Have you tried the Radiomaster MT12 yet? It has a pots fore and aft of the main wheel that might be comparable to the GT5.
Logan, great channel that's one sweet Capra. Just replaced my 1st axle housing after 2 years of owning my Capra. What's the wheel base of your Capra? Hope to meet you at Pro-Line. Will my 1st. Stay safe
You're one of the only other person that I have heard say that about their shocks I do the same exact thing if I'm coming across something and my rear end is going to drop in the possibility of it reacting and dropping in really fast and jerking me off of the wall it's very high if it reacts nice and slow and sits down the possibility is is it not going to jerk me off the wall
That crossed line full throttle - Land - slow crawl Min 4:35 was awesome 👍

Sounds Great! I would like to see a picture of that....

I love hearing them tires work great video I always like seeing a capra in action 👌
Awesome Crawling Logan! Loved that sidewall crawl around the 20:00 mark 🤘

I love my drag axle capra its fun and very capable. Thanks for the video.
I was looking for those spring cup mounts for the Losi-T springs so I jumped over and ordered 4 sets. Thanks.
Just returned these tires do to tread blocks starting to peel off the carcass ,they were on a stock base camp 3 not even a battery pack through them.
Very interested in those lower shock mounts
Tires look great
I run a drag axle Capra👍🏼
I still have my Capra builders kit drag axle build. I’ve never had a four wheel steer vehicle although I plan to build one based on the we rock RC rules.
Tires look nice! I wish they were a licensed tire but they look to perform well
I still have the OG drag axle Capra. Started as a kit when they first came out.
Bought the kit when they went on clearance. It’s such a beast! I wish I would have bought a couple.

Thanks bud, we need to crawl together more.
We have one drag axle in the group 👍
Awesome 🤘
Logan, did you ever find out about the lower shock mounts? Did anything ever come to market?
Belle présentation 👍🛻👽

my truck broke 2 axles watching that fall i wish i had that good of luck hahaha...
When you have in stock ??😊

Haven't had any problems with my flysky g7p
Will u ever offer ur winch mount again. I love raw wheels, nothing better in my opinion
Chevron tire mixed with a hyrax hybrid?
What’s the benefit of having the shock collars so low?
Which insert do these run same as the krawlers
Yes. SL3D has custom inserts for these. Trimmed down Crawler Innovation double deuce also work really well in these skinny 5.25” tires.
While it’s a good looking tire, Proline tires typically do not work in my area. 🤙
