Having work with so many phones myself (I am a phone shop owner), iPhone 11 pro's photography is really lightyears ahead of the competition, simply because of the speed to fire up the camera apps, get it ready for next shots after the previous one, seamless transition between lens, ease of point and shoot with very natural and not overbloated outcome. In contrast (Sadly), Samsung's camera has improved nothing other than oversaturating and beautifying the photo for general public's liking. Pixel no longer has any competitive edge in 2020's flagship competition. The only great ones that Android side could offer this year are just Xiaomi mi 10 ultra and Huawei p40 pro, period. Don't even try to discredit me by saying I'm iSheep, my ex daily phones (for the past 2 years) were Samsung note 9 and Pixel 4 XL. I've finally convinced myself to switch to 11 pro this year due to the disappointing presentation of Android phones this year.

Thanks for the tips, really love it. One thing to ask, my iPhone Pro Max does not have this option --> Use content outside the frame, when I tried to do like you said. Open a photo, edit, crop the 3-dot but it doesn't have that pop up. I have turned on all the "Composition" function (3 of them) like you recommended. The options I have - PhotoGrid ( I don't know why this came up instead of the function you said.) - and More (Markup) But the "Use content outside the frame", didn't show up, why is that? Any advice? Does it mean some of the lens may not work?

Thanks for the video. I can’t get mine to do what you do. At about 2:12 you enable a scroll wheel, I’ve watched that few seconds about 20 times at 50% speed, I can’t see how you did it. I’m in night mode, but can’t activate it by swiping in the lower left corner, as you seem to be doing. Please show more detail and explanation. If we could understand it when you race through the motions, we wouldn’t need your video.

So I have the 11 pro and I love it so far and when I got it the camera was working fine but all of a sudden the camera that makes everything larger just started to make trash quality I don’t know if I need to exchange it for a new one or if it’s normal
I've watched 2 of your video's so far and I must say they are a lot to swallow considering I had a iPhone XS prior and just got the IPhone 11 Pro. I also noticed in some of the tips and tricks as well as the camera video's that I don't have some of the things that you show to press on. Also, if I'd like you know that I've had to replay the video's over and over again at certain spots during the because you go way too fast for me to follow and give it a try at the same time. Cool trick for the camera. Being that the camera is ultimately better using the back camera did you know there is a mirror to help you if you are taking a selfie using the back lens. Just line yourself up with the top camera. And if you are trying to take a picture of say like a cut on your lip literally put the spot on the top lens and snap your pic you will see in the mirror exactly how your pic will turn out
In the composition feature you explained, no matter what I do I cannot get, “use photo outside of frame” to come up. I followed your directions explicitly, and I have an iPhone 11 pro with the latest update.
"Adjust composition with content outside the frame Camera uses content captured outside the frame to automatically adjust a photo or a QuickTake video and improve the composition. A blue Auto badge appears in the top-right corner when an automatic adjustment is applied. To turn off automatic adjustments, go to Settings > Camera, then turn off Auto Apply Adjustments." You have to turn off the auto adjust to manualy "use photo outside of frame" and the option does not show within the 3 dots, you have to go to the crop option and the pinch out to show the 'bigger picture'. It worked for photos but nothing shows up for videos. Will update when i find the solution. Hope this helps.
plrs76 Thanks! I tried this and I still didn’t receive the message to be able to adjust composition outside the frame. I’m thinking I’ll have to wait for a bug fix from Apple, since it does seem to either work or partially work for most people. So frustrating.
No one should ask you to take your case off to do a camera tutorial and if they do tell them to take the case off of their iPhone and go outside and do the same exact thing and watch them drop and crack it. It’s your money it’s your investment. I feel you there I only take the case off when I’m in the house I keep it on when I’m outside
The selfie camera uses 12 mp when you have the wife mode enabled. Uses 7mp when you don’t. It doesn’t matter if it’s in portrait or landscape at all. It’s whether or not you have the wide angle enabled.
Unfortunately deep fusion doesn't work in sunny environments, on ultra wide angle or capture outside of frame. With wide angle it's hit or miss due to its based on medium to low light and telephoto usually has it all the time unless its too sunny or capture outside frame is on

11 pro night mode is quite underrated. I was able to get some detailed pics in a dark room.

I think you could always toggle the camera with full capabilities except going to your gallery without unlocking your phone…Great tip and video though

George Melvin the message does not show. Just go to ‘edit’ and select the ‘crop’ option, just pinch to zoom out in that option.

Can't find the "Use Content Outside the Frame" option. I'm using the iPhone 11 only.

I have problems turning night mode off I like to use flash and night mode still automatically comes on even though I turned it off and flash on
