Idk if you could do this before but the way that you slide the button to record in the camera app is also a way that you can record something with your song still playing in the background while using Bluetooth. Before you would have to use another app.
Thank you for the reminder. I had this same problem on my iPhone 6s. Now with my iPhone 11, the Lifeproof case "converts" the back-and-forth ringer action of the unclothed iPhone to a rotary action. I was looking right at it and forgot what it was for. Sigh.

The phone assumes because it is on silent that you need it to stay quiet so videos are muted. Facebook does these same thing but offers a sound toggle at the bottom corner if you want to hear the video that is autoplaying.
Great video but don't get the swipe feature, it just doesn't work for me so won't using this feature as it seem to take much longer to type when you consider all the corrections you have to go back on. But thanks for all the other tips.

I was actually missing the “trackpad” feature. I used it a lot on the iPhone 8+ but the way to use it on the 8+ was by 3D Touching on the keyboard.
You have to hard press the space bar to use that feature.

Only real difference I’ve noticed between my 8 and 11 is the sound when playing movies with Dolby Atmos. But otherwise it’s the same phone basically.

Tap on the Instagram video post and it will allow sound. Also in stories hit the volume button. Either up or down. Works for me
