Are you going for all the platinum medals in the future by chance? I remember getting nearly all of them in middle school, but not quite 100% (I should replay this sometime).
It's a possibility that I will after I complete it since here it's an actual challenge unlike in Nightfire where you just have to pick up the 007 Tokens. I just don't want to have all the bonus unlocks on this initial playthrough as usual.
I loved the hell out of Nightfire. Many years ago it used to be my favorite game back when I was playing PS2 and Xbox. It's actually sad how well I remember all the dialogue and maps from memory. Too bad the pc version seems lame in comparison (besides the bunny-hopping aspect).
I agree, bunny hopping in that game can be really fun but the missions and gameplay just don't do it for me, not even close to the level of the console versions.
Hey Graslu00, you ever thought about uploading your save files for the EA Bond games? I’m not skilled enough to unlock a lot of these Gold or Platinum medal unlockables, but I’d still like to have them around to play with. I’m a noob, I know. Played those games for years and still nowhere close to good enough.
I've never thought of that and it's a neat idea. I'll do it after I finish the AUF playthrough so I can bundle Nightfire, Everything or Nothing and Agent Under Fire together. They don't have the platinum awards as I didn't play more after completing them for the playthrough, but I could get them in the future and update the saves.
Graslu00 Late reply but thanks! I’m mainly looking for Platinum medal stuff as they’re the ones that are the trickiest for me to get. Especially for Everything or Nothing where I have to do a separate objective that can come down to the wire on a time limit or take under a certain amount of damage.
I dunno for GameCube or XBOX, but with PS2, it annoyed me how the game boots you to the first mission immediately when you play it for the first time, skipping the main menu. Thus if one saves after completing that mission as it asks, certain settings can't be changed for that file anymore (such as the 16:9 setting). A bit annoying. (Recently played first time through a "PROMO ONLY - NOT FOR RESALE" disc.)
@@Graslu00 I would imagine it "does nothing" in GameCube as well unless one starts a new file after that, since saving also seems to save certain settings with it. I easily noted that one has to start a new file when making that change, as mission select screen gets affected with 16:9 as well and it can be telling which mode one has on a save file. Thus loading reverts to whatever settings one does had when making a save (easily observed by changing the music volume from whatever value one has it to 0 and then loading a save). I wish the settings would've been handled like in AUF, or like the profile system from NF.
I'm not sure actually, long time since I tried but I don't remember having issues with it, can even change it for multiplayer and all. AUF didn't even have widescreen sadly.
@@Graslu00 Need to try with Multiplayer sometime. One thing to note that those actual movie files (some may call them pre-rendered scenes) such as opening credits are no longer letterboxed that much with widescreen setting on PS2 (these files are in 1.85:1 if I recall, so ever so slight bars are present), unlike what we have here - 1.85:1 with 4:3 letterbox with 16:9 stretch.
