It just breaks my heart as to the way things are going. Here in Spring,TX it seems like every vacant piece of property is taking up for high rise apartments. Plus now when I go out I have to be real mindful of my surroundings. 2920 is becoming another 1960 with strip centers. As a native Texan I have lived in Maryland and Washington ST but came back home after Mom passed away as the oldest of four. Like it has alway been said no matter where you go there is no way you can take Texas out of a Texan. So I do understand. Enjoyed watching and Thanks. Love y'all
Nice......We have lived in Central Florida for 28 Years (moved here from MI in 1996) Had 2 homes and now live in our 3rd home, which is our retirement home (Florida will always be a Great investment for property)! We are going back to MI for the Summers, but still love living in Florida and have a Class B Van to travel in!! ENJOY! I will be following your channel!
I think it makes sense for you guys for many reasons, I personally like it. I could never do it financially, but if it fits for you, hey, why not. I know you've been thinking about this potential change since the pandemic when you had to worry about hunkering down somewhere when so many locations closed (like all the state parks). I am happy y'all are still Texas registered. We do the same. Even though we own property in NM and pay property taxes there, we are legally still Texas residents for many reasons. Beautiful Lot you two found!! We actually sold our 45 ft 2021 Class A Tiffin RV and went back to a home on 5 acres. We also have 10 acre lot here in Tx to build on that will only be 5 minutes from our very young grandchildren. That is the reason at first to get out of travel and also my husband kept working from RV so guess what...now we are both back at work for a few more years. Call us crazy! Yes! I still want to rv but that will be when our grandchildren are much older and in school. Right now they love this grandma and grandpa. Congratulations to you both!!

I’ve always enjoyed your channel and enjoy camping. The thing we enjoy the most is meeting all kinds of people. It doesn’t matter what they are camping in so it hurts my heart to see resorts that exclude everything but a class A. Of course it is free enterprise and capitalism. Thanks Rick for your honest opinion. We love meeting all types of people as well and of course don’t care what they travel in as long as they get outside. Like we said, this resort was about the location, amenities & investment (trying not to lose money), we just happen to have a class A and that gave us more to pick from.

You'll enjoy the area. We have a place in St. Lucie County, on Hutchinson Island. We started with an RV lot and later bought a unit with a modular home. The value has doubled in the 6 years we've owned it. You've made a good investment.

Welcome to Florida! We live on the west coast, about an hour and a half north of Tampa just outside the Crystal River area. WOW! Congratulations, Stacie and Tom, what an absolutely GORGEOUS RV lot! It is exquisite!
We LOVE cruising too! However, cruising at full capacity has become a bit “yucky” lately!!!! We are RVers who’ve considered purchasing a lot, but we actually still work full-time and will never be full-time RVers so decided it wasn’t worth it for us. Considered it as an investment, BUT not sure we thought some of these lots would hold their retail value. LOVE YOURS!! You did a great job setting it up!
Thanks Sylvia, not all RV lots would be a good investment but this resort is totally built out so you are not competing with a developer if you want to sell & it’s in a very desirable area. Nothing is guaranteed but we feel good about it. Good luck in y’all’s journey. Safe travels!

Something tells me you guys are Mets fans, or did you not realize they have spring training right around the corner? Gotta love all the amenities that PSL has to offer, including 2 Sam's clubs, 3 walmarts plus 2 walmart neighborhood markets, botanical garden, a riverfront boardwalk, Rt 95 and Florida turnpike access, a near constant breeze year round, plenty of doctor offices, and lots of shopping! Good choice for a home base!
@@rvamericayall used to be our home base for 8 years, we lived there before the real estate market went crazy, and the town was quieter. But it's a great town and we do miss it! But Keystone Heights is our home bass now, you should visit it sometime, as there's a great RV Resort here!

OK another one my husband wants me to ask 😆. We have noticed that many of these RV communities are strictly for Class A motorhomes. We are looking to purchase a Super C motorhome. Are you aware of any of these types of communities that allow high-end Super C motorhomes? Thanks again!

Thats a cool outdoor area. You should have a transfer switch installed so you can use your solar or generator onboard power when the shore power is out.

We live on the northern gulf coast and are looking for a owner opportunity somewhere between Tennessee and Michigan to get out of the hot Summers in the south. We LOVE cruising too! However, cruising at full capacity has become a bit “yucky” lately!!!! We are RVers who’ve considered purchasing a lot, but we actually still work full-time and will never be full-time RVers so decided it wasn’t worth it for us. Considered it as an investment, BUT not sure we thought some of these lots would hold their retail value. LOVE YOURS!! You did a great job setting it up!
Thanks Sylvia, not all RV lots would be a good investment but this resort is totally built out so you are not competing with a developer if you want to sell & it’s in a very desirable area. Nothing is guaranteed but we feel good about it. Good luck in y’all’s journey. Safe travels!

Something tells me you guys are Mets fans, or did you not realize they have spring training right around the corner? Gotta love all the amenities that PSL has to offer, including 2 Sam's clubs, 3 walmarts plus 2 walmart neighborhood markets, botanical garden, a riverfront boardwalk, Rt 95 and Florida turnpike access, a near constant breeze year round, plenty of doctor offices, and lots of shopping! Good choice for a home base!

@@rvamericayall used to be our home base for 8 years, we lived there before the real estate market went crazy, and the town was quieter. But it's a great town and we do miss it! But Keystone Heights is our home bass now, you should visit it sometime, as there's a great RV Resort here!

OK another one my husband wants me to ask 😆. We have noticed that many of these RV communities are strictly for Class A motorhomes. We are looking to purchase a Super C motorhome. Are you aware of any of these types of communities that allow high-end Super C motorhomes? Thanks again!

I think you are going to be very happy there. 🙂 There is definitely no better place to spend the winter than Florida. We live directly across from you in Sarasota. We are 2 miles from the Atlanta Braves Spring Training facility. We only part time so we still have our sticks and bricks.

My only complaint about south Florida is it’s just a bit too crowded for me. We live on the northern gulf coast and are looking for a owner opportunity somewhere between Tennessee and Michigan to get out of the hot Summers in the south.
