Cheryl, you have some really beautiful fabrics and yarns. It will be inspirational to see them made up. Isn't it great, when you get the fit right on a pattern and can reuse it without the fuss of fitting? This afternoon I set out on my first twin needle hem. It was on a t-shirt and I used Wonder Tape. It turned out perfect. My machine's auto tension compensated beautifully. Sewing is so good when things work out the way they are supposed to. Have fun at your knitting retreat. ☃☃ Bernadette
@@SuzySunshine thank you for sharing what you’ve been doing. What kind of machine do you own? I love twin needle sewing. So many fabric manipulation ideas for twin needles of various widths. I forgot about Wonder Tape. I have some of that too! It’s a great product❤️
@bluegrassdreams2seams510 Cheryl, it's a Singer Quantum Stylist 9960. I bought it about 2 years ago and. amazingly it has gone UP about $400.00 since then. Usually, they go down in price. It has served me well so far.
Your cardigan is going to be gorgeous!!! I like your new top, but I am totally with you on the ultra wide necklines; they are even worse on me as I have very narrow shoulders. I feel like I look almost clownlike in them. I'm sorry if i missed some of your videos. We actually ended up moving this month so zero thought to any sewing at the moment. My new sewing room is lovely so I am going to call this whole thing a win. I did buy Ann Tilley's Magic pants pattern, so when I get organized that will be high on my list of priorities. Your fabrics ae lovely, so it will be fun to see what you make.
@@nadinewoods6971 Lucky you! New sewing space🥰 I’ve moved a few times, so I know what you mean! We are tossing around moving again😳 I know a smaller yard would be easier on us both. I just got this kitchen; I want to enjoy it just a little😊 However, another year here and I think we will be looking more seriously. Congratulations on your new home!
Hi Cheryl, you have me so confused right now! I haven't ever sewn that Vogue pattern and I haven't made a T shirt from my Wheel! 😂 Having said all that I love the green of your T shirt and neckbands can be tricky but I don't think anyone notices apart from us. Your knitting is exceptional ❤ xx
You know what it is, that Simplicity pattern you used reminds me of this Vogue pattern view. I have both of them and they are a bit similar. That’s it! Sorry for confusion.

That Kaffe fabric shirt you made is beautiful. Love it.
@@dianemontavon5670 I really love that shirt pattern. I cut it out again.
I was going to reach out to you. Hope you are doing okay.
@@bluegrassdreams2seams510 I'm doing well. Can't wait to see the next one made up.

@@socarole66 I’m sorry. I thought you had made this pattern up recently. I guess someone else did. Now I’m wondering who made it🤣

@ ooohhh! I see now. I'm too scared of Vogue patterns so I knew I hadn't sewn it 😂
Some Vogue patterns are super easy. Those are about the same in price as the other patterns in big 4. I do get the hesitation though with Vogue.
