One sticking is awesome! You can do it without a true one stick. I have used a Muddy Pro with a Trophyline platform for years, but recently went to a true one stick. Yes they are expensive, but it saves a lot of time and weight. After I switched to one sticking I couldn't multi-stick again, repelling is the only way down imo. That particular saddle you have is great for one-sticking too, nice big pockets and they are well forward of center. You will need a pulldown rope too, I would suggest the EWO dynaglide kit.
The key to one-sticking is to manage the slack in your line, every single step even in your aider you should be taking up slack or moving your rope up and don't forget you can use your lineman too when you are making a move if you want a little more security. Also, you can back up the madrock above the device or below, though the specs say not to below but I believe that is because we are using it in a very different application than it is intended to be used (partner belaying is what it's built for). Have fun and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you! Thank you for the encouragement and advice. Definitely gonna have some dynaglide in the game, and will consider backing up the Madrock. Thanks again!
