@Timothy Frith: Yes, the Mouse House (Disney, that is) does own Touchstone, but it also had help from rival Warner Bros. under the Amblin Entertainment name due to Steven Speilberg's involvement as executive-producer.
Although CGI is now a thing in animated films these days, had it not been for hand-drawn films, they wouldn't exist. Not to mention the use of puppetry and mechanical props that serve as stand-ins for the toon characters. It may have been the 80s (the era I was born), but they live up well for future live-action/animated films that released after Roger Rabbit. A dueling piano between Donald and Daffy was awesome, but having Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny together was a real kicker!
I don't even think about all the technical wizardry that they had to cook up because it's just so natural on screen!
seeing how old movies were made is just so magical compared to cg
So amazing
In the ink and paint club the piano act with donald duck and daffy duck It was almost disney's vs warner bros duck
RIP Bob Hoskins.

Kinda interesting that the actors build a relationship with the cartoons even if they don't exist.
Hearing Eddie Valiant talk with a British accent just doesn't seem right for some reason.
3D IS CGI. Unless you mean the stereoscopic 3D.
RIP Bob Hoskins
