cycling in Italy is my dreaming too, thanks for sharing all your experience, this information about transportation is really needed for foreigner, not just about the cycling itself
Hey Johnny! I am the guy who recommended you try out Mendelsteinpass near Bozen on Strava, I spent some time living in Taipei now live in Munich and love your content. I really had to sympathize with you, mentioning the over 1,000 meters of climbing before you hit the cafe - I was absolutely dying before I even saw the switch backs. I just got back from Mallorca and very much recommend you visit there next time you are in Europe!
I did a climb in Colombia and I was stopping every kilometer also. Between the altitude ( I came from Florida) and the grade I was a hurting pup. Zone 1 power and zone 4 HR. I’m glad I’m not the only one
great video love the channel
Thank you! 🙏
Beautiful video 🎉
🙏
Great video. You should have biked from Munich to Meran. No need for the bus. Inntal and Austria is so beautiful
Thank you! I was not prepared to bike pack on this trip. I had all my luggage with me. However, you are absolutely correct, Austria is so beautiful!! I will go back for sure
Thanks for the take along! That was great!
If you feel the water are delicious mean you're exhausted. Keep going .😊
Thanks for sharing. Great video!! And you were not wearing gloves on the descent!
I really hate wearing gloves 😆 but at least it’s not super hot and my hands were not all sweaty
Awesome scenery! Have fun & ride safe.. 👍🏽😁
Thank you 🙏
great ride Johnny
Great video! Looks like you were carrying a bit of luggage up the climb too, plus a DSLR.
Yes the extra weight definitely didn’t help 🫠
😃💪 Beautiful route, maybe some day i have the chance to ride Stelvio
Hope you get a chance sometime. It’s really something else to see it in real life.
You have amazing content man. Thanks for making these. I always wondered how to get to the Dolomites with my bike. Now I know. Was this harder than anything you've climbed in Asia?
This climb was super hard for me this day…but actually just realized my power meter is acting strange. I can’t answer your question until I get a chance to do it again 😀 but I don’t think so. I’ve done some really tough climbs in Asia.
Awesome video! Possibly the closest I can get to riding the Stelvio Pass (but who knows 🤞🏼)
Fingers crossed. I hope you can make it!!
Nice
Your videos are just the best.
Thank you!
Oh wow... Beautiful country mountain side.... Why not stay the night at the top?
My plan was to stay in a town called Vione after Passo Gavia…but I just couldn’t make it 😢
What camera are you using ?
Main camera is Sony ZV-E1 but also use GoPro and iPhone 14 Pro
