i have the same but a ryzen 5 3600 and for some reason i average like 170 and in fights or gliding above buildings it goes to like 70 help. and im on 1550x1080 res

It's because of cpu bottle neck. The i5 12400f gets to 170-320fps average but if you get a ryzen 5 5500 it'll be as good as the i5 at a little lower price

Strange. I have an i9 10900f and the differences are very big
because fortnite is kind of a cpu game so the better cpu the better fps. an i5 12400f is clearly not as good as an i9 10900f. its normal to have better fps bcs u have a better cpu

it will have a bottle neck,a i7 13TH gen can EASILY pair with a rtx4090,so u should spend less money and buy the i5 13th gen and a rtx4070 wich is 550 bucks

@@itssule4823overclock but not too much fix all windows settings and nvidia settings cap ur fps at something lower and u can get no drops
