in the "Judgment day" album there are many songs absolutely incredible for speed and tecnique, and for their musical value. Unfortunately there are still no music videos or live performances available for these songs, only audio tracks that is still worth listening. I mention above all "Dissonance" and "The Soldier Stands Solitarily". However, there is also an MV, "stand and deliver", very funny, which I recommend. Richard Hugh Blackmore was one of the first rock guitarists to bring in classical overtones into rock. Miyako used to listen to Rainbow records with her mother. She was highly influenced by his style. She saw videos of Ritchie breaking guitars on stage and thought, "Those poor guitars." Listen to Light in the Black from Rainbow Rising and you will hear the classical influence and shredding in the solo. Yngwie also brings in classic influence saying that Paganini was his favorite and imagine instead of playing his music on piano you play it through an electric guitar through a stack of Marshalls. Yngwie is probably more of a neo-classical player than Blackmore.

Those who call LOVEBITES a power metal band (on Wikipedia) should call IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and METALLICA also power metal bands. 🤗 Wikipedia has a lot, a lot of errors in the sections dedicated to LOVEBITES. These are facts that I personally have encountered many times over more than 3.5 years. Those who post information on Wikipedia about LOVEBITES often publish incorrect information. They don't translate correctly from Japanese (Japanese music media) to English. Most likely they use automatic translators, which are not perfect. After I first discovered errors in Wikipedia, I began to take all the information about LOVEBITES from primary sources, including Japanese ones. Music reviews and critical articles on the band's releases; information about past and planned Tours, concerts and Festivals; interviews with band members, which they gave over the years and in different countries ( how did the idea to create such a band come about, the history of the band, the history of the songs, etc.) ; music Charts and much more. Only Lovebites from Japan band, not the others. They are totally different style of music. Aldious is the only band close to Lovebites. But factually they stopped to exist when singer re:NO because of disease Patulous Eustachian Tube must left the band.

I like the track but not the production. The riff leading into the guitar solos reminds me of the riff underlying the chorus of Gates of Babylon by Rainbow. Yngwie did a cover of that one.

My impression on your review is just great. You talked about Yngwie Malmsteen. The dark haired guitarist Miyako actually covered Yngwie's Far Beyond The Sun "but" on piano as an etude. I am hoping that you guys back off of the "They sound like Iron Maiden". While it is legit to notice influences there have been horrible "reactors" in the past that where infering that Japanese bands were "Copycat Posers". So much PTSD from bad reactors from years ago that I caution new Reactors to stay far far away from anything that could be misconstrued. If you think I am overreacting, I invite you do do a deep dive into reactions from years ago. EXTREMELY BAD "REACTORS" from the past still have videos up. Just an opinion and suggestion. You talk in this video of Warning band (they are from Mexico, you know that). I didn't fully understand what are you talking about, but for great part of Americans they are almost American, and because of that they liked them. Anyway they can't be compered to LOVEBITES, that are so much much much more better.
I bought the Warning's album before we were done reacting to the album, which meant I had to wait before listening to it. That was excrutiating. Was saying for that reason I'm going to wait on buying Lovebites' Judgement Day album. We have a strict rule against sparking band wars on this channel - just FYI! :)

It's always been a little bit of a risk for us to bring together fanbases of different style groups. So we're always a little wary of things turning into major battles. I think all these bands are great. We've been getting awesome recommendations from our audience. We understand that not everyone is going to like everything. There's no question we favor The Warning around here - heavily - our favorite band in decades - but we always keep our ears open. We know there's plenty of music out there we haven't heard yet and that there's plenty to celebrate. To us, it's silly to pit bands against each other. I don't think they personally view it as any kind of battle, they're just trying to find an audience. And that's where we come in. :)

I think part of your quote was: “Japanese bands being too centered on virtuosity over being more emotionally engaging”, or it was part of a post of someone anyway. To some degree Japanese bands focus a bit more on the technical (as even Miho mentioned in an interview), but this doesn’t necessitate the sacrifice the other; just requires more good songwriting. Although I think Lovebites has a lack of songs people want to listen to on Spotify, with their music being more suited for reaction videos (the highly technical surprising new listeners), I am hoping they improve on the writing for the next album to include all aspects of music more. I was thinking besides catchy choruses, they could create a little space for Asami to shine more too (perhaps to reach the viewers more emotionally), while allowing for more aspects of the music as well. I had recently watched some videos of a band called Polyphia. Their songwriting is very good; little pauses between rhythmic patterns that add a sort of spaciousness to their sound; allowing all the instruments to shine through. A good drummer (like they have) helps create that spaciousness rather than stepping on any toes. I seen this a little bit in Gacharic Spin (did my best to try to describe it then as well), but it’s not at the same level as Polyphia. Edit: I believe the Polyphia songs were: Goat, Playing God, and Ego Death. I just thought they had some interesting songwriting. Even for an instrumental band, they must still be conveying something to a wider audience here (emotion or whatnot) to be hitting those numbers on their songs, while clearly being highly technical too.

Richard Hugh Blackmore was one of the first rock guitarists to bring in classical overtones into rock. Miyako used to listen to Rainbow records with her mother. She was highly influenced by his style. She saw videos of Ritchie breaking guitars on stage and thought, "Those poor guitars."
Listen to Light in the Black from Rainbow Rising and you will hear the classical influence and shredding in the solo. Yngwie also brings in classic influence saying that Paganini was his favorite and imagine instead of playing his music on piano you play it through an electric guitar through a stack of Marshalls. Yngwie is probably more of a neo-classical player than Blackmore.

Those who call LOVEBITES a power metal band (on Wikipedia) should call IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and METALLICA also power metal bands. 🤗
Wikipedia has a lot, a lot of errors in the sections dedicated to LOVEBITES. These are facts that I personally have encountered many times over more than 3.5 years. Those who post information on Wikipedia about LOVEBITES often publish incorrect information. They don't translate correctly from Japanese (Japanese music media) to English. Most likely they use automatic translators, which are not perfect.
After I first discovered errors in Wikipedia, I began to take all the information about LOVEBITES from primary sources, including Japanese ones. Music reviews and critical articles on the band's releases; information about past and planned Tours, concerts and Festivals; interviews with band members, which they gave over the years and in different countries ( how did the idea to create such a band come about, the history of the band, the history of the songs, etc.) ; music Charts and much more. And I can responsibly assert that very often the information on Wikipedia differs from what is written in the original sources !!! She is distorted!!!
Of course, you can ignore my comment. And trust Wikipedia in everything. Including that LOVEBITES is a power metal band.

Only Lovebites from Japan band, not the others. They are totally different style of music. Aldious is the only band close to Lovebites. But factually they stopped to exist when singer re:NO because of disease Patulous Eustachian Tube must left the band.

I live in San Francisco and just retired, so I am ready to pack up the van and travel anywhere within the USA to see them. Just patiently waiting for them to announce more USA dates. I like the track but not the production. The riff leading into the guitar solos reminds me of the riff underlying the chorus of Gates of Babylon by Rainbow. Yngwie did a cover of that one.

My impression on your review is just great. You talked about Yngwie Malmsteen. The dark haired guitarist Miyako actually covered Yngwie's Far Beyond The Sun "but" on piano as an etude. I am hoping that you guys back off of the "They sound like Iron Maiden". While it is legit to notice influences there have been horrible "reactors" in the past that where infering that Japanese bands were "Copycat Posers". So much PTSD from bad reactors from years ago that I caution new Reactors to stay far far away from anything that could be misconstrued. If you think I am overreacting, I invite you do do a deep dive into reactions from years ago. EXTREMELY BAD "REACTORS" from the past still have videos up. Just an opinion and suggestion. You talk in this video of Warning band (they are from Mexico, you know that). I didn't fully understand what are you talking about, but for great part of Americans they are almost American, and because of that they liked them. Anyway they can't be compered to LOVEBITES, that are so much much much more better.
I bought the Warning's album before we were done reacting to the album, which meant I had to wait before listening to it. That was excrutiating.
Was saying for that reason I'm going to wait on buying Lovebites' Judgement Day album.

It's always been a little bit of a risk for us to bring together fanbases of different style groups. So we're always a little wary of things turning into major battles. I think all these bands are great. We've been getting awesome recommendations from our audience. We understand that not everyone is going to like everything.
There's no question we favor The Warning around here - heavily - our favorite band in decades - but we always keep our ears open. We know there's plenty of music out there we haven't heard yet and that there's plenty to celebrate.
To us, it's silly to pit bands against each other. I don't think they personally view it as any kind of battle, they're just trying to find an audience. And that's where we come in. :)

I think part of your quote was: “Japanese bands being too centered on virtuosity over being more emotionally engaging”, or it was part of a post of someone anyway.
To some degree Japanese bands focus a bit more on the technical (as even Miho mentioned in an interview), but this doesn’t necessitate the sacrifice the other; just requires more good songwriting. Although I think Lovebites has a lack of songs people want to listen to on Spotify, with their music being more suited for reaction videos (the highly technical surprising new listeners), I am hoping they improve on the writing for the next album to include all aspects of music more. I was thinking besides catchy choruses, they could create a little space for Asami to shine more too (perhaps to reach the viewers more emotionally), while allowing for more aspects of the music as well. I had recently watched some videos of a band called Polyphia. Their songwriting is very good; little pauses between rhythmic patterns that add a sort of spaciousness to their sound; allowing all the instruments to shine through. A good drummer (like they have) helps create that spaciousness rather than stepping on any toes. I seen this a little bit in Gacharic Spin (did my best to try to describe it then as well), but it’s not at the same level as Polyphia.
Edit: I believe the Polyphia songs were: Goat, Playing God, and Ego Death. I just thought they had some interesting songwriting. Even for an instrumental band, they must still be conveying something to a wider audience here (emotion or whatnot) to be hitting those numbers on their songs, while clearly being highly technical too.
