Same here. I fell in love with figure skating when i saw their OD in Olympics Vancouver 2010. FS is not popular in my country (Brazil) but since the first time i saw Meryl and Charlie skating i fell in love with this team and sport.
Best ice dancing team ever in my opinion! I think its quite sad people don't care about ice dancing and the only thing they know about Meryl and Charlie is that they are Olympic sochi champions (others even only know them because "Dancing with the stars" agrr). Let me tell you: before Sochi they had won every single competition for 2 years, undefeated for 2 whole seasons, 2 times worlds champions, 6 times Nationals champions, and many more littles since they had won every single grand prix competition, 5 times Grand Prix Final champions and Vancouver 2010 Olympics silver medalists... i wish they didn't have retired just yet... they could be 2 time Olympic champions now. They are not only the most decorated american ice dancers but one of the most decorated ice dancers in history.

It's kind of astounding to have an Olympic silver medal and a gold in ice dancing, so, as almost all competitive figure skaters do, after Sochi it was time to start getting paid (and well) to skate. Skating in ice shows is a LOT safer, also -- stating the obvious. We're lucky to live with 21st-C tech, and have TH-cam and other sources provide us with videos of their competitions.
