Hey, big guy. Thanks for the STL, I'll see about printing one soon! As for medical stuff, I'm a medic in the army. I try to source most of the stuff for my unit through North American Rescue, all their stuff is the same sort we use already.
Just FYI, the ATF Worksheet 4999 automatically fails any pistol with a secondary (forward) grip. Stupid I know. Using two hands to fire a pistol should not make it a "rifle". The brace could even be removed so no possibility of shouldering it. Yet still, ATF says two hands equals rifle. Always good to be aware.
cool work! I was on the fence between this and Digital Nimbus Invader, but after printing the sauerkraut for a different project, I want to see the full package here. I might try adding 3 and/or 9 o'clock pic rails up front for a thumb rest on one and weapon light on the other. That way the screw flages would be part of the pic rail and be less obvious and the rail portions would be split lengthwise. Accessories clamped to the rail would possibly sturdy the front section more I would imagine. Also, great stuff on Vice. Keegan seems to be catching the 3d2a bug, or maybe I'm reading too deep into his psyche. lmao
It's addictive! How could one not get drawn in? Haha. Shit man, it's not a decision between the two, the answer is both! Lol. The question is which one to print first!
@@MiddletonMade3D I won't need to decide on which first if I get a 2nd printer... I'll make this first since I don't want to shell out for a Glock kit right now and I know your folding brace is robust. I'd still like a detent or something like that to keep the brace holded, but I can make do with magnets or something.
Having an issue. I printed this to use with an m&p 2.0 it all fits well but the slide rack mechanism isn’t quite tall enough. Also I noticed it has a decent amount of flex to it. Should I extend that mechanism down to touch the top of the slide to make it more solid? Is that how it is meant to fit?
The step file is included so you can measure the distance between the top of the slide and the bottom of the handle and extrude the handle down almost that distance. That should make it a hell of a lot more refined for you.
I think so, however, there are multiple keys and Trojan handles. The step file for each is included so you can take a measurement and actually modify to fit yours perfectly
Oh man I completely agree. I might have a few ideas to incorporate that idea into but on the hot pocket it was overly complicated to do so. I DID have that in the infancy of this design but it quickly became an issue
Thank you! You'll want to use the one that's as far forward as possible. With Glock, you may need to trim the key down to fit your gun specifically. I don't have a Glock to model off of but there ARE other people who have made keys to fit them specifically, but they haven't been shared with me
I know I’m almost a year late on this, but I’d recommend checking out Refuge Medical for your medical supplies. 100% American made stuff, based outta Oklahoma
Refuge medical is amazing kits pre set up and the guy that makes them is great and it's all usa made. As for the print I'm looking at using a Springfield XD what modifications if any will it require for use?
I haven't tried the XD myself so I'm not exactly sure but it should work together right out of the box. The only modification you may need to make is the charging handle height if it doesn't engage the rear site. If you can get a set of suppressor height sites, that will also greatly help
It's more if the handgun has a rail on it or not. If theres a rail and you can get the body to jive with the sights, should be good The external safety MAY not fit.
ASA TECHMED is an great source for cheap medical components to make your own IFAK or have a few premade kits and is cheap cost and good quality. I take their equipment out with me on wildland fires and have unfortunately had to use it on occasion and it preformed great every time.
It may look that way from the camera angle, but the hand stays out from in front of the muzzle at all times. The grip is encouraged for keeping your hands clear of the barrel.
You know, I'm not sure. I never really see that down in the comments on anyone else's videos so I'm going to say probably a no go unless it's a plain text. Feel free to send me a DM on Instagram if you ever need to connect with me though.
Orientation isn't super important for the body, just the mount. As far as walls and such, I usually do 6 for top and bottom, although it's not terribly important for this particular model.
@@MiddletonMade3D I like the hot pocket! Tho I haven't tested it out, and I did have to modify the charging handle to make it longer on the bottom to catch my non-suppressor height sights. I have it on a g27, which I would recommend not to use it on since there ends up being more mass on the back since the front rails of the gun are so short due to the subcompactness of the gun, so I have to squeeze the top of the hot pocket and the gun together so that the gun doesn't slide down and not get caught by the charging handle. I wish I could do something about the front to accomodate the g27 more, but I lack the cad skills for that. Good thing is it's universal.
The step is included so you can measure the distance between the top of your slide and the charging handle, and add the difference to the file. Perfect fit.

Greetings fellow designer. I like what you did with the charging handle. That gives me an idea of what I might do for my next design.
Hell yeah! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Sounds like infringement to me. I fire all my handguns with two hands 🤷♂️
@@MiddletonMade3D Yes, exactly! Ain't nobody doing no Cowboy shit for target shooting or self defense!

There IS a magnet spot on the back of it so you can get one rolling on there. Maybe in the next design I'll have some sort of mechanical retention 🤔

absolutely can!

Awesome work mate
Thank you friend!
I know you said S&W will work but can it fit a SD9VE? Wanna know before I print it, cheers!
It should, but I haven't tried myself. The charging handle will need to be modified to fit the slide, but the step file is included.
Should I try A or B for a glock 19? Thanks! Awesome work here sir this design is amazing.

As long as it has a bottom rail and the charging handle can touch a rear sight, you should be g2g!
Does a or b work w a glock 45
Hey there, reportedly gen 5 is wider than usual and unfortunately will not fit.
totally true!!! ATF always be changing their piece of shit regulations
I think Katy Perry did a song about them "hot then cold, yes then no, in then out, something something" lol
Glock 26 version? Gen 4?
Glocks are odd with their rail, but if the right key is used, yes.
Is this compatible with taurus g3.?
