Yes I agree! Thicker bolder fonts. You can do a script as long as it's larger text, you have wide enough satin stitches and water soluble stabilizer on top.
Hi Jane! Not a basting stitch but that is an option. I simply performed a trim on my machine so that I can see exactly where the needle will go down to make sure it's precisely in the center.

Yes I agree! Thicker bolder fonts. You can do a script as long as it's larger text, you have wide enough satin stitches and water soluble stabilizer on top.

The “2 strap” collar can just be fully lengthen, therefore just one piece of nylon to work with.

You don’t need backing on anything that thick
You are correct. In this case the stabilizer was used to keep the belt secure while embroidering. Sometimes the belts may shift if not well secured.
