It was great to learn how to maneuver and manipulate the model... but your tool won't work. Without getting into great detail, take my word as a tool maker.... :-)
Hi sir, When you are cutting an object with a plane the 1st click highlights an object you want to cut, 2nd surface you want to cut with and 3rd(pink) removes an object you want to get rid off. When moving one plate back against another. Select move tool, move arrow to the right edge of the plate(in this instance), select right arrow, select move up to, select left edge of the other plate. @@dailey3drevolve tons of ways for doing that, finaly do however comes easier for you, but surely, you don´t need the draw the whole cutter piece, you can make the lines straight on the top surface of the prism and just extrude from there.
