@@profesorblancocienciassoci8873 I definitely agree. The builder is just hoping that billionaires that don't know anything about boats buy the thing just because it costs more than others in its class.
@@HarryShagnasty-sc9zd A 40 foot Fairline is £1m and more all-in. You think a full-spec Princess V50 will be much less? Prices are what they are. This is 1.5m not 5.5m.
I've been watching these videos for years and i'm still surprised you haven't got Aquaholic branded socks, Nick. I've seen your socked feet more often than any other TH-camr, time to up the branding game!
Great review of the ultimate day boat out occasional weekender. Always amazes me when owners spec modifications to a boat and improve it over the original. Designers take note!
Wow so spacious Love the four seats at the helm station. I can never understand why so many boats still just have a single helm seat and the passengers have to sit in the back or sideways.
My first problem with Pardo is EVERYTHING is an option. There is not a lot of standard equipment for a LUXURY brand. I'm glad to see Nick back in the swing of things!
Not great for weekends away. No cooking and eating space below. Even 8 hours of bad weather can ruin a trip. It's a glorified speed boat for day trips round the harbour.
That's a very nice looking boat, quite spacious as well, if I did away with the crew cabin like this I would make it the master cabin. Nice quality as well through out, you would definitely be rich if this was the tender to your yacht. Nice tour Nick thank you.
That is a fast boat Nick the first I thought a nice chase boat for a superyacht but this owner did do a good thinking open master bedroom the back room open with a the crew space for one big open space great and it is not possible some one will complain there is not enough cold drinks onboard with 5 fridges wow Thanks Nick a great one ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really enjoy this bloke's presentations. He's the reason I buy lotto tickets. I'm aware I'm never going to win but it's like I'm buying into a dream. A dream that involves so much of what old mate waxes so lyrically and eloquently about. Thanks again.
In Finland it seems many this size yachts actually might have a day captain and sometimes overnight too. As the owner also wants to have a drink or many.
Nice tour Nick and a nice bit of kit ! Just a personal preference but crome rails around the outside would have finished it off , in my opinion! Nice all the same 👍👍
I would keep the interior open plan but put the main bed where the small cabin is on the left, keep the bulkhead, and put the kids in the crew cabin. The front would then be the indoor living area.
That ray core there on the bulkhead next to the starboard engine looks like a fuel polisher there cause that is a good idea no matter what size boat you have like you said 2 things that can totally destroy your engines dirty fuel and a computer you have an excellent day
Agreed, even with the engines further forward, I would still want a sea keeper, especially for a hang out boat like that. And yeah, love that opened up aft double cabin!
Very interesting!! I don't think it's what I'd want. But - maybe as a launch from my private island to shore or my super yacht. No stabilization that I could see, but there was an unmarked unit in the engine room that could be a MC2 gyro from Quick. I have heard that they actually have excellent sea-keeping hulls. They aren't just pretty.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir this Pardo would make a great tender/chase boat for my super yacht, when I get her haha, I really think this owner made great choices compared to the standard , especially losing the walk through for an extra seat and storage, but a kids den with no TV 🤔. Nick I'm a big fan of all the boats you bring us but it's amazing how the prices of these boats have gone up in price,2 or 3 years ago for the price of this day//Weekender boat you could get a full 50ft fly bridge yacht, yes I know "it's the economy stupid" but wow.As ever a great find and tour sir all the best from Cornwall 🤗👍🖖a
I think the smaller boats are way cooler. The bigger the boat gets, the more they are just regular luxury houses. Smaller boats require smarter solutions which are way cooler to unravel
Same for the superyachts, I get it, they are big, expensive, and you can fit everything in it. But as you said, the smaller (cheaper) boats are just more fun to tour because they feel more "obtainable" than a 20mil superyacht. I also love to be surprised on how much space they can find within the small boats.
I'm shock3d there are no servant's quarters aboard thst thing. Plus, if there is usually another couple with rhem, then that means that couple is sleeping in the kids bunks and that is kimd of funny too
I agree. It looks like you could put a 'bi-fold' section against the 'heads' wall to close it off when guests are aboard. I would. The heads doesn't look large enough to dress comfortably after showering when a 2nd person needs space for the same.
I would make crew area/kids into master bedroom. Then transform space forward into mini galley/table/seating/lounging area. Seats and table converts into night time bedding for the kids. Then, and only then do you have a weekend/trip away boat. Otherwise it's just a glorified day boat as presented.
I would have put a shroud around those jackshafts you never had a drive shaft explode before and yes sometimes I do I actually had one explode between my legs on a home built 4 wheel drive Barbie Jeep When we had a 150 horsepower engine and the drive shaft for the front wheels literally exploded and if it weren't for the shroud that I had around the drive shaft I would have been seriously injured
I didn't see the luxury materials with incredible finish and hot technologies that would deserve 1.6 millions Euros. Not even half of that! Buyer should ask themselves if the superyacht associated is not overpriced too?
Great video of a stylish boat…unfortunately I can’t see it being worth the price and I would think it’s more of a “look at me, I’m so rich” bauble. No stabilization, no cover on the deck for inclement weather, and just too exposed.
For the small accommodation.... no enclosed dining/social space....2nd bathroom is a wet head ....for $1.6MM? It's speedy...but even as a sports boat for beach club day activities it seems to be very expensive.
That's not really a boat that you would think to have crew cabin, owner makes smart choice to remove that wall and extra crew toilet. Though now the layout is a little weird. For the price I think there's better options, Saxdor boats for example are fraction of the price.
3:26 using a 1,6 million euro yacht as a tender for a much bigger yacht is on a whole other level haha
I mean, it's obviously meant to be a tender for an oligarch, because other than vanity, it's a waste of money for the boat.
0:32 yo dawg i herd you like tenders so here's a tender for your tender so you can boat while you boat
@@Rodrifuuu Only 2 cabins. And everything is open on deck. 400.000-500.000 max. 1.6 it just for showoff

The Porsche of the seas
Porsche includes a drivable, road legal car at sale. Is the Hull even included as a standard option on a Pardo? Lol

A better use of space from the ladder access section to the bedroom would have been to turn it into a deck level heads.

Lot of boat ......lot of money too , for a day boat / weekender...
1.6 million, crazy money to spend for a run around boat

nice Nick but can't see the money in it c0nsidering you could buy a flybrige cruiser for the same money
For 1.6 I'd expect something nicer than velcro shades
Looks like a center console or is it?
For what you can get from the other manufacturers for around the same price, is this really value for money or worth that price tag?
would be a good miami to nassau boat
Too bespoke for me to give the thumbs up I'm afraid
Pardon me if this is somehow crass, but 1.6 million for this? For another 600k, you could get a Galeon 560 O_o
I’d except it at 600k but not 1.6!! Insanely expensive !!

I'm not going to have 1.6 million in my entire lifetime. I could retire comfortably on that, and sail around the world on a much cheaper boat.
With a negative attitude like that, sure, you will never be a millionaire.
So if it rains the only shelter is below deck in the cabins? I wouldn't pay half that price.
It's a big toy. Go fast and have a fun day out with the occasional overnight.
So if it rains, you don't go boating. It's not a ferry, it doesn't run to a schedule. 🙂
