I think you are right about the being dressed to lace up shoes. I say it to myself in the mornings now. I figured out how to get my lace up shoes on without having to bend over to put them on. I leave them tied and they are flexible enough for me to slide my foot in. I may have to work them a little, but that’s ok. I love having my clothes ready to put on and cleaning with my pjs makes me feel like a slouch. I have run into the problem of someone showing up at the door while I had my pjs on and that is embarrassing. It’s quick to get going in the morning now, and that is good for me, who is not a morning person. Even though my husband is still asleep when I leave, I started straightening up my side of the bed after I get up. I’m trying to get to bed earlier so I can do swish and swipe then too. It really is nice to wake up to a shiny sink and a clean kitchen too. I like having the days being assigned and zone clean. I forget to use the app to keep track, so it will be one of my sticky notes. I bought one ebook and got another from kindle unlimited. Sink reflections and chaos to clean. I asked my husband if he could get me the ultimate pack for an early birthday present. I couldn’t wait for the books lol. The more I get into the FlyLady system, the better things have gotten for me to get a routine down so I can get things done. It really is a way of life and I’m doing it with like-minded people. Thank you FlyLady!!!
I love going barefoot, all my life, BUT then I dropped a large, full can of spray paint on my foot last year. Broke my toe. In my opinion, that was a big deal. I heard the CRACK and it hurt a lot! I couldn't wear many of my shoes on that foot for months afterwards. (I didn't go to the doctor, I just healed at home. I'm NOT trusting doctors so much since 2020.) Nowadays it's fine, doesn't hurt, but it is a bit crooked. I REGRET NOT DRESSING TO SHOES!!! I am so sorry I didn't listen.

My brother would not wear socks and shoes in house even though he had a toe amputation 5 years ago. Unfortunately he just found a hole in bottom of his foot which required partial amputation of his foot. He now wears sock and shoe on his other foot. Large Mickey Mouse dressing on operative foot. Wearing lace up shoes is a protection.
I am totally agitated in the morning until I'm dressed and in my shoes. I cant do anything without shoes on or at the very least least closed heeled slippers.

Good evening! 😊 I don't allow outside footwear to be worn inside my home. I don't like to go barefoot; I wear nice house slippers inside. I keep a pair of mules by my door, to slip on when I have to go outside. I keep shoe covers and socks for guests by my front door.

Honestly I rarely put on shoes but I wear non Slip socks often in the winter. I understand and appreciate the idea behind shoes and I'm not letting that stop me from being a flybaby and making progress. The whole idea is routine and the idea of ready to go so I'm not arguing I'm doing what works fore and giving it a wholehearted try

@@cassandracm we work 7 days a week and I have been encouraging The FlyLady to take some time off and enjoy life a little more. She really works over 15 hours every day. So if a show is missing it's because we need a break. Poor Marla has had both Liz and me under the weather.

I am a minimalist and do not have clutter but I follow Flylady and get up every morning and get dressed to laced up shoes.

I live in a place that is warm the majority of the time and I wear flip-flops all the time my feet are not nasty I take care of them daily

Barefoot feet from spring 'til fall. Not compromising that unless I am working with my animals or going in the store or someone else's house.
