@@RhodySeth I did one in early Oct, nutrition was an issue. I’ve got another in April and my starter pack of Tailwind comes in tomorrow, getting that nutrition locked in earlier this time around
Back when I was doing my personal training certification I was reading a lot about performance, and I recall specifically that there some studies done showing improved performance of up to nearly 10% when listening to music versus not. Granted this was with lifting weights and reps but still I imagine that carries over. All solid tips for sure!!
I think that you and I have different backyards! LOL But I do know about being pulled along as sometimes when Otis is on lead and wants to take off I got no choice!! LOL Thanks for the great tips!
Nice video Seth! Tailwind is some great stuff - I did the endurance mix and recover mix everyday on the PCT...days I didn't have it I noticed a difference. Did you use an entire packet at once and how often did you take it? I never listened to music on the trail until I started thru hiking...definitely gets ya thru the days.
We went way overboard. Rob brought those two big water coolers. We put five gallons of water in each of 'em and then dumped a full bag of tailwind in one. We definitely could have used less water and made it a little stronger. And we certainly didn't need that much for the three of us. But it made filling up during the breaks very easy.
Beautiful color this time of year..... oh yeah, the foliage was nice, too.
When the leaves are poppin' you gotta pop more so the hunters don't pop one off at ya!
Thanks for the tips, Seth. Congrats on your PR. Backyard Ultras are hard!
Yes, they sure are. Thanks!
Very timely and thanks for the tips
Thanks! If you're doing one soon I hope it goes great!

It definitely helped! Pretty funny I had never considered it before since I'm a musician. Ha!
Great tips Seth best wishes
Simon 🤠👌🏻

Nice video Seth. Take care 😊
I'll take it as easy as I can. Cheers!
Solid advice for you crazy people running that much! ;-) Gotta watch the video of the Ultra, must have missed it!
The best part of the ultra is being able to eat all you want!
Island Tour… this man is a connoisseur of fine Phish😂
Those 2001s from 1.0 were beastly.
@@RhodySeth Indeed! I had a cassette of 4/5/98 set 2 that lived in my car’s tape deck for quite a long time…that funk>Cavern still gets me going!
They make sense to me. I think having the support would be huge.
Yep. Having someone committed to you gives you that much more motivation to get back out there.
So good
Thanks!

Hehe, maybe that's another tip - bring your dog out once you get tired and let them pull you along!
Good tips! Also, is that Carter? looks gorgeous
Yep, Carter Preserve is looking nice right now!
