Flower farming for God’s glory! Here for that!! Locking arms with the same goal. Thanks for your transparency and diligent work. So many of us benefiting from what you are sharing.
Wow, lots of great information again. 🙂 Thought I would listen while I was seeding and I'm going to have to go back and listen again when I can take notes. Thanks for all the time you invest into doing these videos!
Europeans were sleeping and had to wait and watch the recording today 😉 thank you for this video ! Can’t wait to see the next one all about ranunculus 👍
Thank you for sharing the meaning behind your name! I love it! I am still unsure about my business name and have been praying for some inspiration because I would like to incorporate my christian values and give credit to our amazing LORD!❤
You all are a sweet couple ! 🥰 I’ve been growing hanging baskets and annuals for 20 years in a 2000 sq ft greenhouse . Found your channel when I was looking for info on planting a peony field . Thinking about what I plant now will be a marketing strategy when we potentially sell our place in 5-6 years! I would love the right family to take over our business and love our property as we do! 🥰 We live at 6500 ft elevation so we definitely have a cooler growing season . I’m enjoying bing watching your videos 🥰
Annual campanula is spectacular and VERY daylight sensitive. Planted in the fall, I bet you could use a tiny bit of supplemental lighting in early March to get it blooming for next Easter.
Do you have any posts or videos where you discuss homeschooling? I know this isn't that type of channel but as a fellow homeschooling mom of 4, I would just love to know more about the details of your homeschool curriculum and schedule and how you balance it all. I've been growing flowers for a few years now but finally jumping into year 1 of flower farming and I have been binging your content. Thank you for being so relatable and for putting this valuable knowledge out there for us!
Roses make a mess. I had a beautiful climbing rose but I removed it because my whole veggie garden was full with petals. It looked like it snowed. Lisianthus are such a beautiful alternative (without the thorns and pruning :-D )
We’ve been in southern MO one year, and the biggest shocker has been the spiders! 🕷️ After 10 years in Texas we thought we’d seen it all but the mid-west bugs are FOR REAL.
Oh bummer. I'm here the next morning to look for answers to the live chat - which are not visible now :( Do you fertilize your entire flower farm? How often do you fertilize? And I've forgotten (it was on the live chat)- what type of fertilizer do you use? Thanks for the great Live! 🎆
We have wolf spiders where I live. Our cat used to hunt, stalk, kill and then eat them when she was old. She lived to 21. It was her fresh protein. They will bite humans if they feel threatened and some - me - are allergic to their bites. My whole lower leg swoll up when one bit me in the ankle. My doctor just told me to take antihistamines.
Regarding the high demand, could you schedule 😉 your bouquets at a higher price and with one or two more stems? Slightly bigger bouquet but for a price that keeps the demand manageable?
@@CoramDeoFarm that's early! So that will not be a big help to use as "in between" flowers to tie you over till June/July. Have you thought about sweet peas? Plant in the fall and overwinter (in the tunnel) you should get them to flower from May when sewn in October. And you can harvest them fast by not cutting every flower, but by cutting the branches. (Crowley House Flower Farm in California grows them in their big tunnel/greenhouse) there is also a perennial one (Lathyrus latifolius) (no scent, color is white to beautiful dark pink and it comes back every year)
Is it to late to start potomic snaps? I started the rocket mix about a month ago. I can plant out around mid May. I would use the potomic variety as a succession sowing.
We have 40 peonies, and 300 roses: we lost 0 peonies to voles this yeah, but about 10-15 roses. Not sure if that’s an Oregon thing or what but it doesn’t seem to be their first choice in attacking here.

It is really remarkable how much you have grown in three short years. Thank you for taking us on your journey.
Schedule.
Thank you!
What an amazing grandson. She must be very proud.

Your hand gestures create fireworks, hearts, likes, etc. There are more too. This only works on lives. Congrats, you have enough followers to do it.
Ha!

Northwoods gardener here - the soil is still a frozen ice cube! Ranunculus and Lizzies are still sitting under grow lights.

Welcome!
📆 thanks for all you two do to help all the other flower farmers succeed!!! 💚
The video of making to tunnel will be great to watch. Thanks about doing that Eric. So happy for Y’all’s Easter sale day, truly amazing.
Thanks for the candid chat.. God bless you.

I love watching you guys cause you are so down to earth. I love others many flowers but they make me a bit anxious. Schedule
I'm in south Texas and lilies are a perfect gap between early spring focals and summer focals.
Thank you so much for sharing! Love watching and listening to your channel. It is so helpful! Starting our flower farm this year in east Arkansas.
You are so welcome!
LOL "don't make it obscure" - "Calendar schedule" . But, those are two very important words when working out a plan!!
Haha 😂

Hi from Oregon!! Starting a small scale flower farm!
We’ve been in southern MO one year, and the biggest shocker has been the spiders! 🕷️ After 10 years in Texas we thought we’d seen it all but the mid-west bugs are FOR REAL.
Watching afterwards because of scheduling 📅 issues with the time difference with Sweden.
I can hear you
Saw them

You should be able to view the live chat as well. There’s a button to push to see them

🗓️ another great video well done

We are going to charge more for our subs at this time
I have the heebee geebees just listening to you talk about spiders. 😂😬
Schedule!
Have you tried alliums for blooms in late April / May?
Ours bloom early April

No
Calendar schedule 😊 You both are such a great team. God bless your marriage, your children and your farm!
Such good info! 🗓️
Do you have a problem with voles, groundhogs, etc eating peony roots? That’s what scares me most about the peony investment here in MO.
