Do not worry about the software updates. This mobile is literally Samsung's true flagship. The SD865 makes it very fast, no lags at all, I am using the mobile for 22 months and I am heavy user, you can have 10 apps open and still the performance will be superb. When it comes to the camera, it is not true that night photos are not good. Unfortunately there is no way to upload some night photos taken with the S20 FE 5g here to see by yourselves. There is a little bit of noise in night photos, but the detail is still great. Plus that it has a 30x zoom and it has functions to retain the clarity, the details and the pixels even if you used 30x ! Even if you zoom-in to 30x there is a function that can crop your image and the cropped image will have the same pixels as the original (which is a function that you never meet even in the most expensive iPhone). Video stabilization is also superb! You can actually shoot videos up to 12x and the pixels will not be less. Also you can shoot Pro-Video which is a function you will find only in the Galaxy S20, 21, 22, and 23 Ultra variables. Has a 120 Refresh Rate, it is snappy and fast, and the battery (no matter if I use the phone for 22 months lasts a full date with heavy use!) On top of that the phone has an hybrid microSD slot that is up to 1TB, which makes this phone an excellent tool for professionals who wish to carry all their files with them. I disagree that this is a phone for children or elderly people. This is really a phone for professional people who are on the go every day and need a reliable tool to help them carry on with their daily work. Last, but not least, you can still do secure transactions as the phone supports NFC.
i recently buy the s20 fe too i like everything about ot but the only problem am facing is lack of ram management even my former s9 plus has better ram management than it.if i open 4-5 apps 1-2 of it must close,something my s9 plus handles pretty well

@khalidbashir3546 why don't you try and check the ram plus feature. May be it helps. It depends on the app you're using.

@techbunny i try the ram plus it didn't help and i also watch a video abt virtual ram i see it is not that kind of usefull to me.but i noticed the ram management is getting better as am using it,i think maybe it is adopting to my usage patterns.
edit:after 2 week of usage now the ram management is now better and even the battery has gotten better.
i think it has now adapt to my usage.
i you're also experiencing ram management issue just give it time it'll will adapt to your usage pattern and improve the ram management

S20fe in all aspects except battery
Normal heating issue facing while charging . This feature phone is highly recommend compare to other cheap quality Chinese phone.
I've had this phone for 3 years now, got it used for $300 USD, still great. Perfect for me still, I don't game on my phone or do anything very intensive. Hoping to get another year out of it, battery permitting, but I limit charging to 85% and try to plug it in around 20-30% to reduce battery wear. Good points in this vid, it's crazy how cheap this very capable phone has gotten, still great for basic use though the security updates ending concerns me a bit
everything is good about this phone, but due to over heating the back panel may come out as Samsung may be using cheap adhesives.
hence it will damage the IP ratings
For me it happened in the last year. I went to service centre and then paid around 200 to 300 rupees to change the glue of the back panel. In case water get into this yes it voids the warranty

I'll probably keep this phone forever. Performance is pretty good for me and my use, and its got a nice minimalistic look in my opinion

Where i am from there is no samsung pay, so knoxx doesn't matter, what means this phone is open for custom rom, i run oneui 6.1 on my FE and it runs very well, smooth and zippy! Gaming is awesome, the camera doesn't matter that much. I love this phone, and with the 5g, it is futureproof.

Heating is common due to summer now. For ram management , try ram plus feature. If still it didn't resolved, wait for next update (may be glitch or bugs will be there!)
I have ram management issue for a long time in my s20fe. Apps like youtube would reload if left minimised even for a small period of time
The s9+ made me swap models. The display sucks on the s20 fe 5g but great phones

Sir iam facing some problem in s20 fe 5g after security update( i think) . Sometimes screen got stuck not resphonsing and also sometimes it keep showing me touch protection screen so when i restart the phone the problem get solved and also sometimes problem solved by its own

I too hard the same problem but not in the recent update like 2 months back. It happened to me when I keep my mobile in back pocket. If I try to unlock the mobile it's not. So many accidental touch and the pocket mod is turning on automatically Nd the screen is not responsive. If I charge the mobile on the time it is resolved and I didn't have any issue after that.

@VedikaInani my recommendation is use the battery protection mode which stops charging at 85%. You will see the battery backup differences after some days.

I have had it for 2,5 years and it just started to get a bit old it seems that the battery doesnt hold up as well and also lags and has some wifi problems but ive been happy with it i think ill use it until december and ill switch to an iphone 15
