Let me guess. Op has it wrong the whole time. The men on the dance floor are relatives and the kisses are familial. It's ops jealousy that's the issue. The fact he has a betrayed history, that she left him alone on the dance floor and in general sitting by himself, no problem. He probably even caused his own stabbing.
This damn fool is going to end up getting back together with that witch that already has no respect for him. Then, because he's such an idiot she'll have even less respect for him but they'll be "in love" and "live happily ever after."
