I wish more men would point this out and quit saying she's a good mother, she's anything but. She's selfish and often deluted as to how great it's going to be and only thinking what she wants, the very opposite of a good mother who puts her children and marriage first.
A parent that cheats, especially if it's the mother, also cheats on the children. I wish more men would point this out and quit saying she's a good mother, she's anything but. Interesting story. Pretty much predictable and paint by numbers until right up to the end and then took a very unexpected turn right at the ending. I would have given this story about a c or a c+ up until that point. Because of the ending, I raise it to a- To be clear, it went out of its way to lull us into predictability and then did a switcheroo right at the end..
Not so sure. By not taking her advice OP got custody. If he had played nice OP would have gotten the shaft. He would be paying alimony and child support lost his house and have his daughters likely hate his guts. Had a coworker who did what OP did. His ex cheated did drugs etc. the coworker made sure that all came out to get custody which he won. Believe me that is nearly impossible here. There is a balance. You tell the truth but nicely. You explain the divorce is because mommy fell in love with another man and wants him instead of daddy. I don't understand protecting the reputation of someone who betrays you.
Like always everybody's telling the guy to eat shit and just take it. Be nice and be a part time dad. Thats bull. Burn her world. She was the one who was cheating. Not him. She's the one who should be punished. Not him.
Been there, once a cheater always a cheater, take an honest look at yourself and work on your shortcomings. Learn from your own issues and move forward. Absolutely no backsliding.
Don't take girl advise from girls. Just get over it. My friends were there for me when i got divorced. That was hanging out with me not telling me to get over it. They new i needed time. The more i listen to what his sister. The angrier i get. He hasn't had any time to process this and she jumping her shit. I would have told my friends to f off
Damn Laura was reading chapter and verse from the how to simp hard handbook. I am glad he didn't take her advice and exposed the cheater!

Yep. The guy abandoned the moral high ground. Sorry it affected his relationship with his sister.
I understand the anger.
The story could have been 50% smaller with all the facts and action.
Love the "twin cousins" bit.
