The RG350M is a fantastic follow up to last year's smash hit the RG350 handheld. With its sturdy aluminum outer casing, new updated IPS display, and the newly redesigned button layout and lower profile analog sticks, it's a certainly the emulation console any gamer would love to own. My favorite retro video game of all time is Super Mario World for the SNES. My aunt passed away when I was 10. She was a gamer and just purchased the SNES when it came out. She always had to have the latest console. She and I used to game together. She called me up one day to come over and surprise me that she purchased the SNES and we used to play together for hours. She was the reason that I am so passionate about gaming today!

Zelda Link's Awakening DX is probably my favorite handheld game of a time!
Firstly thanks for the video. I still own my gameboy pocket which I've had for 20 years now and my favourite retro handheld game I still own is Pokémon Yellow. It was cool to have pikachu actually follow you around. If it was favourite retro game of all time it would be a tie between Zelda Ocarina of Time on N64 & Streets of Rage 1 on megadrive. The soundtrack for SoR is still amazing.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time for my daughter & I, but haven’t been able to make it happen. But I have “liked” and shared this video in hopes of winning the contest. Been a fan of your channel too, so I’m happy to support. And my favorite handheld games is still old school Tetris on the original Gameboy. I also loved the God of War game on PSP.
Tetris and the OG Gameboy were my first introduction into the world of hand held gaming. Played the game to death growing up.

Nice review. One thing that I think people should note is that the RG350M is 2 times the resolution/pixel density of the RG350. Meaning games will be more pixel perfect/less blurred when scaled to fill the screen. I'm not sure whether more pixels/higher res also decreases the speed noticably in games, however. That's something someone should test - framerates on the original vs. the 350m. SOMEONE should do a video comparison... hint. hint.
One of my favorites that comes to mind right now is Donkey Kong 3.
My favorite retro title has to be Super Castlevania IV, it's always a must for a Halloween title to play through!

Thanks, nice clear review. 'Wheelie' for Spectrum was excellent and 'Commando' with a Joystick caused a lot of premature arthritis. Graphics quality/resolution seems to have very little to do with playability and addictiveness.
My all-time favourite is definitely Pokémon Emerald. The game really blew my mind back when I was a kid.
Favorite handheld game of all time would be a toss up between Metroid 2 and Legend of Zelda Links Awakening. I'm so grateful Nintendo did the rerelease of Zelda on the switch, but Metroid 2 absolutely deserves one. Amazing game that used to scare the crap out of me as a kid! Plus the ending was so good! Great video!

Loooved that game, but never found any copies that weren’t ridiculously expensive online. To have the capability to buy this, load it and my favorite ps1, gameboy games etc is going to make trips/travel for work fun when it’s safe to travel again. I already have the RG350 but I don't think it's a good idea to upgrade to metal version.. if they release a better internal specs that could play higher emulator then it's a yes from me.

As a poor man, I'm thinking of just going with the standard 350 and refuse to look at anything new. It's just like cell phones, buy last year's model, and try not to find out how many features yer missing. Ignorance is bliss. Great vid really appreciate this, I'm not tech savvy enough to go into this without doing hours of homework.

I dont want them aligned with each as it offsets the center of balance. Hence why some people absolutely hate he ps controllers.

My favorite retro game is Jennifer Capriottis tennis for sega genesis. I know it's random but its the best tennis game ever made. I put many hours into that one back in the day.

to me the new stick/dpad placement is the only real improvement (also the new sd cart slot!). aluminum shells have too much weight and the battery life is worse

Just bought an unused mint condition Vita. Just added the HKU mods and need to add a 128gb card. Wish I bought this now 350M now! Unless I can add those TMNinjaT arcade game?
Problem is last two handhelds I bought broke from only use and once from overcharging for an hour so now I have the rg350M on the way but god knows how it will go

There's something that I noticed on the rd350m nintendo games are played with a different aspect ratio, while the original rg350 has full screen. That there just made me want to stick to original rg350.
thats just a setting in the emulator, you can easily adjust the aspect ratio on either device.
For me the GBA is the all time best!
I have the original and I also bought the metal one. Believe me you should upgrade because the original button presses sounds so plasticky. It's a toy. The metal one is so premium. Upgrade now or regret later.

Not a big difference in hardware between 2 models, but a half of a price in rubles, which is sensible. Already watched some videos about Chinese handhelds, and comparing to ps vita, which costs same money, i think ps Vita wins. I will read more articles to make a choice
I know it’s a huge list but what are some of the games that comes with it if you get it tomtop.
I have an RG350M and is amazing, but I think that if you have a RG350 you could change the screen for 20-30€ to other with 640×480.
But pay 95-100€ for this upgrade is not reasonable, RG350M is a good option only for new buyers.
I'm not a new buyer. I have the original. It's all plastic and when you press the buttons they all sounded plasticky. It's a toy. I bought the M because it looks so classy and premium and very presentable. It has crisp, clear screen. I think the speaker is a bit louder and really it's beautiful.

N64, yes but the performance is not good for most games. Gamecube no.
