I really like the design on this machine. It takes me back to some PS2 Sci-fi racing games. Looking at the CE 04 makes me feel like looking at a jet i'd pick back in my childhood. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
I have a 2016 TMAX530 done over 55,000km of purely city commuting on it over the last 5 years. The long wheelbase is the agility problem (10cm longer on CE04)you need to react quickly to different traffic situations to take advantage of them. Ride in strong winds over bridges (Sydney Harbour bridge) the long wheelbase is your friend combined with 215kg weight. I think for the right commute it would be a great urban tool. I applaud you for pushing things in the right direction. I would definitely like to transition over to an EV urban bike like the CE04.
Thank you for your positive feedback, Adam! We can only agree with you - the new BMW CE 04 is definitely pathleading, especially for the urban two-wheel electromobility 😊
Just a quick question regarding the restricted 11kw version. Could that be ridden on just a CBT with L plates? I know you would need more to ride the full 31kw model.
Just bought one, collecting tomorrow 25/8/23, my commute 22 miles each way, I’m expecting seat to be more comfortable than it looks, for 15000 pounds I’m expecting a lot
And how can I get the option the give a lift to a pillion passenger, whilst having a topcase (for storage and as a backrest to the pillion passenger), in unison with the ability of carrying and storing two helmets?!
Hi Nemanja, in the configurator you will find further variants of the BMW CE 04. You can try it here 👉 configurator.bmw-motorrad.com/index_global.html!
Shame on this flat sit. This is terrible during the dynamic driving and doesn’t transmit confidence neither comfort to the driver. The sit is important for the driver to “dress” the bike. Who designed this don’t know nothing about driving bikes and it’s circumstances.
I like the design, but as a maxi scooter in size at least it should be capable of reasonably long commutes. Maybe 50 miles / 80 km each way with anxiety Yet the range of this CE 04 seems little better than the previous C Evolution electric around for over 7 years.
Sorry to break it to you BMW, but the design is just plain worst! You see as a motorcycle owner and enthusiast, what we seek is a superb design followed by the capabilities and features. The front wheel is really good, futuristic! I'll give you that. But the rest is far by worst design I could ever imagine. The design is like comparing the taxis from the 19th century to what they're now. It should be stealthy and aggressive looking to the eyes. And what with this orange color choice? Is this for construction? Also what's up with the orange plastic infront? It's like a piece of lego glued in there wtf!? The side mirrors are like leaves with long stems. Every key element should be futuristic come on, otherwise what is the difference to the existing ones? Just because it's electric vehicle? Also what's that cheap lcd dashboard there? I noticed that its even hard touch and laggy animation. If you can't make a decent dashboard, throw an ipad or an android tablet in there. Have apple or google configure it to your needs cuz clearly you suck at it. In terms of features... What's new? I didn't see anything new frankly. Here are some few suggestions. Integrate an application connected to the motorcycle where the user can see if there's any maintenance, problem needed to be done or can alert if the motorcycle is low on fuel, and find where it was parked. All these are visualized via phone. No phone calling via dashboard its hideous! How about attaching a transparent glass in front as windscreen, but not just ordinary glass but a monitor or dashboard itself! The technology is available and I believe it was LG or samsung who developed it. Imagine a transparent monitor where you can see your speedometer, gas level, alerts and road itself in front without bowing your head down while driving just to see the dashboard. Now that's futuristic!
the back wheel is the most boring wheel i have ever seen in my life , it looks like a mini spare wheel from a car in fact everything from were you place your feet back is terrible. shame shame shame .....
This will be another extremely low volume scooter by BMW. I look at this design and I just can't understand the logic of it. Here are some problems: 1. Not enough storage space. Why did the designers took the storage capacity away. In the City we need as much storage as we can get. Tiny storage under the bench seat is just not enough. Also if I want to add a top box where do I put that? 2. BMW please stop making spaceship designs, instead focus on reliability and functionality. I really liked the previous C650 scooters you made, but I didn't buy one because of all the complaints about reliability. I have a Burgman 400 and Kymco AK550i, both are very reliable and had zero problems after so many years, please make similar scooters. 3. What happened to wind protection? 4. Please build scooters for the real everyday people, your designers are living in some utopian world (please bring them back to reality).
@@Met201101M Really, I' looking at a scooter with the back wheel open, a pressed steel wheel by the look of it. Would look better covered with a spat or similar.

What is the total battery range?
The battery provides a range of approximately 130km, the reduced output version reaches up to 100km 😊
I don't understand the beauty of installing the licence plate, on the mudguard... so so so bad...
launch it in india🔥
The only issue is the seat!
thats the best part, it showed in the video how you have many to choose from
Exactly. There are various options and on top of that: the seat is quite comfy!

thank you for your honest feedback. We take your points very serious.🤗
cover up that back wheel, or put a nice rim on it
