I was on the Goodwill Bridge for the practice runs there on the Friday. After the first runs were done, I felt satisfied with what I'd got, and had forgotten that they do the same runs twice. So I'm walking past QUT near the Botanical Gardens when all of a sudden I hear a monumental noise and turn to see the Growler at an 80° flying past 500m away and almost knocking me off my feet. 10/10 experience, would do again.
I didnt know about C-17s until I saw one taking off when I was boarding a plane. I was gob-smacked by the majestic way it floated into the air. The C-17 straight away became a favourite plane.
Camerawork not too bad. Rehearal good time for recording as crowd not so big. If this was during actual show you would have seen me on my boat. During the show the Growler had lot of condensation on the wings which looked gtreat.
Breathtaking and wonderful
Sound is terrific 😮😮😮
Great camera work
It is indeed heartstopping to see any plane that is not taking off or landing, appearing to fly BELOW the roofline of a skyscraper. Nice footage.
Far below the roofline, afterburners on heading straight at buildings is truely heart stopping!
And so the legend that is OPN was born 😊
Breathtaking 😮😮😮
The "Churn & Burn" from the old F111 that used to fuel dump...... miss that pig.....
You and me both aspen. What a sight that was 🙌🏻
My phone wallpaper is 30sec exposure of F-111 dump and burn at night at Riverfire taken from Kangaroo Pt cliff.
Awesome. Thank you.
Thank you Karen 🙌🏻

The C-17 has been a long time favourite for me as well. The Riverfire aerial display is about as close as you can get to one as a spectator 🙌🏻
Love the Growler,sound and sight❤❤❤
Fantastic,love this plane❤❤❤
You have to live and admire the skills of our pilots.imagine the doing something like this in the USA oh my goodness.
Nice video, but to clarify, this isn't an F/A-18, it's an EA-18G Growler
Are you sure? I couldn't tell from the video.
Maybe can just make out ECM pods on wingtips.
@@AJS86 100% sure
