Have this lens on a 50r for Landscape using Capture One to edit.
Truely a joy to use and exquisite files to work with.

I’m a published photographer and I just purchased the 32-64mm gf. I’ve heard how incredibly sharp this lens is from many reviews.. I just received it in the mail. I can tell you right of the box that the build quality of the lens is absolutely disappointing! The front lens barrel is made of cheap plastic, if you zoom out to 64mm with the barrel extended, you can see the seam in the plastic, the whole barrel is plastic and then the front filter mount is metal. To me this is cheap! For $2300, I would have expected better build quality and a more premium lens. I shoot with Zeiss and Sigma Art lenses and I know good build quality. Hope the optics are better then the build quality!!!

We don't really want a huge and heavy lens to carry around... Image quality is the first priority for clients I suppose.

@@kiki5melo “We” .. I highly doubt you speak for every photographer.. Second, you most likely have never shot with a quality lens like Zeiss, that not only has incredible optics, but has a well made lens housing that feels premium for what you paid for it. The optics in the Fuji lens are very good. Im happy with the image quality. That was not my issue. My issue is why take high end optics and put them into a cheaply made lens housing? Would you put a Ferrari engine in a Yugo…No!..lol

@kiki5melo I agree with you. It was a weight savings choice as the gfx system is heavier than most. Still feels very quality to me, but I prioritize image quality first personally. I also own Zeiss lenses so im not speaking from a fuji only standpoint. To each their own! Happy shooting.

getting this lens with Atomos Ninja V to do filming with 100s body. the quality per weight volume not only benifiting stills photographer, it does the same to filmmakers too. never in time do filmmakers have the accessibility to this lightweight setup that produces image quality this close to film and to cine studio/broadcast range gear.
