    Jaboticabas are hands down my favorite fruit trees in my collection! Mine are in Promix medium with added growstone for drainage. Also added rice hulls and rockdust for additional minerals every 3-4 months. Extremely healthy fruited in 3yrs! Best tree to live with long term! Always love the content green dreams 🔥🔥🔥

    Do they have a tap root or do they spread was thinking of planting mine next to a concrete porch but don’t know if it’s gonna compromise the foundation I to am in zone 9 central Texas my tree is very smalllooks like it’s a sabra as you informed small leave it looks like a bonsai I will leave in pot until it gets bigger

    • @PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL
      @PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should be okay, but if it gets too large you might want to consider planting farther from foundation, but that will take many years

      Sorry I know. It was definitely a last resort, I checked everywhere. Lowe’s is the only one that had it.

      @@PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL You thought you were being sneaky by turning them around huh? Hahaha. Lol, its understandable. Do you not mix soil with perlite often? id figure you would have a bulk supply from somewhere

    • @PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL
      @PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deathlesszero I did think I could hide it! Busted. No I normally but everything pre-mixed in bulk, I should have done that with this one too. There was no added ingredients but I HATE supporting them don't worry.

    Are you guys taking cuttings?
    Speed up maturity.
    Expand propagation.
    Potentially create a commercial side to it by selling off a few hundred/thousand each year.
    Use those online informal markets like Ebay etc.

    • @PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL

      englishcoach777 unfortunately Jaboticaba won’t take from cuttings. I don’t know anyone successful
