Jaboticabas are hands down my favorite fruit trees in my collection! Mine are in Promix medium with added growstone for drainage. Also added rice hulls and rockdust for additional minerals every 3-4 months. Extremely healthy fruited in 3yrs! Best tree to live with long term! Always love the content green dreams 🔥🔥🔥

Talk about timing, I just bought a beautiful specimen at Echo yesterday, so excited to prune, I love the bonsai look to them and that beautiful bark...yup, I'm hooked, planted near the Florida room so I can watch it grow, lol...so amazing and thanks for the tips, it really helps...!

Oh my gosh! Thank you for all this info! So generous and I love your "pro-tips" I'm a busy nursery manager, mom and landscape designer and I wish I could talk to more/other florida growers to learn, this gave me an opportunity to learn without having to seek out and visit (thought I'd love to be able to do that too). Again - Thanks!

I am Brazilian and where I live here in Brazil we have lots of jaboticabas tree! When I was a kid I use to climb jaboticabas tree and eat lots of jaboticabas me and my friends had lots of fun!
The only sad thing about climbing the three is anywhere you step in the tree branches will not grow jaboticabas again.

Hi, I just got my first tree, and I am going to plant it. I came to your channel to review what kind of soil to plant it in. I am going to keep it in a pot. On a side note, I have not tasted this fruit yet. I have to say that as a native miami person, my favorite fruit remains the mango, and i love muscadine grapes, I think they do grow in homestead, (not sure) I am also crazy about florida avocados (sp). After seeing flying fox fruits grafting videos, I need to search around for my favorite avocados. Thank you for all of the good stuff that you do.

They can be very common with Jabo’s. Just keep the moisture up and make sure the soil isn’t too broken down if in a pot. They don’t really like worms.

whats the spray called? Gorgeous trees man. I admit i am jealous. But great for you, that is a nice investment of time and love. This video is up there with your costa rica tours. What do you do with the Jabos if it freezes? Also, i know you dont really want to sell any, but i am missing a white in my collection. I dont see GreenDreams coming to coastal NC for work. well maybe,.money talks right. I would be really appreciative to buy a white.
Great video.. Rock Dust is awesome of course. All soil needs it. After JK talked about the high apple production using granite fines. I am sold that all fruiting trees can use it. GREAT VIDEO!!! I am buying concrete blocks tomorrow..i have been looking for a solution for wind. thanks again!!

Let me know Pete!!! I'll get some from you!!! We have a yard with a crazy sceptic so we can't plant trees in the back yard. These would be dope!! I can keep them in pots. I would LOVE to come and volunteer for a week or two. Wife is an herbalist and native gardener, I'm the 'chop wood/carry water' guy.... I run circles around the kids these days. Short drive from ATL for us!!!

@Pete Kanaris GreenDreamsTV Hey there. Stopped by for a few plants last Saturday. Great plants and thank you! Caterina talked me into getting a Jaboticaba next. Which one do you recommend? Any flavor differences? I see you have a decent size red one for sale right now. Thank you!

Awesome man! Thanks for the support. I’d definitely go with the red variety for flower and not having to wait 10 years.
