Also 1 hint, the ability to say "I don't know", is underrated. It's ok, the more important thing is how would you deal with it.
How to handle conflict in real life :
" Keep rejecting their pull request until they fall in line " , lol
Thanks for these resources, these are such amazing tips!
very useful
For conflict, what if we have a case where there's one other engineer on the project including you (who is much more experienced), but you don't feel like they're pulling their weight? eg they're asking you a lot of questions? I feel like bringing this up to a manager might be a bit sus since it gets into performance management. What do you think a good answer would be in terms of what action you took?
blind is full of stories of people getting E6 offers by lying on behavioral interviews and now they are afraid that they will not be able to correspond to their level 🙂
I mean you should always take everything you read on Blind with a massive grain of salt. The level of bullshit there reaches levels never before seen. I doubt any meaningful amount of people are faking their way to E6 offers, there's too many hurdles to jump through. Pretending in one interview doesn't get you there. And if they do make it through, then most likely they will not perform and get PIPed or just leave on their own.
dont be a freeloader, ouch
