  • This week we are going to be going over the Kraeuter wrenches that ‪@Resto-Scraps‬ and Bryan Jolley gave me while we were all at Jacktown. These are very rare to find in the wild and I am so grateful to those guys for giving them to me.
    Check out my Buddy CC over on his channel. / @resto-scraps

    Those Kraeuter wrenches are beautiful Super George. I was really hoping you wouldn't do a full restoration.....some things look so much better with the age and patina. Very nicely done brother and they look great on the wall. I'll keep an eye out in my neck of the woods for ya. I found four brand new Stanley Proto 3/4 drive sockets, an Armstrong 3/4 socket, a no name 3/4 drive socket and a Wright 8" 3/4 drive extension yesterday all for a 20 dollar bill. Let the games begin 😂 I'll find a complete set of sockets to go with my dads 3/4 Craftman ratchet one at a time. I don't care if they're all the same brand as long as I don't have any skipped sizes.

      The USS refers to United States Standard system that predated the SAE system, which was adopted in 1933. The first number is the across flat, AF, and the second number is the bolt size. progress-is-fine.blogspot.com/2017/01/the-evolution-of-standard-wrench-sizes.html

    • @CalPil0t
      @CalPil0t 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The USS standard predated the SAE system (adopted in 1933). The first number is the across flats (AF), and the second is the bolt size associated with the AF in the USS standard system. Search for history of bolt standards and you will find some interesting discussion.
