    Don't ever hesitate to post a project as simple as this, I enjoy them just as much as more complex builds!

    Frank, I lost my focus on the build of the project when you put the "Drive In Movie" screen on the big door. That was just so interesting and ingenious to put close ups into. A real pleasure to watch how you inject different things! Thank you very much!

    I don't really do any woodworking, but these videos have become one of the highlights for which I visit TH-cam. Excellent production, keep it up, Mr. Howarth.

    I hope that you enjoy making these videos, because the editing and preparation that goes into them is unparalleled! They are a joy to watch, and a feast for the eyes. You are my source of calm, normal videos. None of the clickbaity vibes the rest of TH-cam is giving off. Your channel has something special in that. Keep it up!

    • @MaxMakerChannel
      @MaxMakerChannel 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Smith Clickbait is horrible. Its not that common for DIY channels. Diresta, Matthias Wandelt and Steve Ramsay don't do it. But when one starts, everyone else feels the forced to do the same. Viewers can only watch a limited number of videos and clickbait is an unfair advantage. It is unfair for everyone involved.

    They're simple, functional and elegant. And I really like how you can pull them out and bring them to other areas of the shop.

    Frank, I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. The dust collection on the radial arm saw, laying out the drawers and your video editing skills are incredible. I especially liked the inset close up video almost as if you projected it onto your shop door. TWO THUMBS UP!!

    Nice editing, I was waiting for the rude drawer stop motion bit there near the end. : ) Good tip about placing a spacer before attaching the drawer pull, I'll definitely remember that one.

  • @wxfield

    If you consider your drawers as trays, perhaps cutting some handholds in the sides of the drawers might be useful. I do this in the drawers of my work van and find it more comfortable hefting the drawers around with handholds rather than relying on the drawer slides to carry all the weight. I also key all my drawers to make them vertically stackable. If I take my hardware drawer out, I might want to cover it by stacking another drawer on top if I'm working in a dirty (airborne) environment that day.

I love the simplicity to your work and I too love the ability to pull drawers out and use it as a "containment tray"; when I'm done using the item(s) from that drawer - back it goes... it's a lot easier to do than to go back and forth. I liked the spilt screen shot your workshop door, that was really a great idea. You should cut hand holds in the sides of your drawers/trays since you like to pull them all the way out. I think it would make it easier to handle them, especially if any of them get some weight in them. Great video Frank, I really enjoy your work!

    Love your videos. Your method of story telling and incorporation of nested visuals to explain the thought process is wonderful and adds impressive depth and interest.
