Context for the first deleted scene:
In the original storyboard for the episode, pop DOES notice cub getting killed by all the glass shard, so he went to hide his body in the leaves.
The creators thought it was too hard to watch so they changed it too him simply not noticing.

I heard of the storyboards for Pop's cut scene, but ive never seen the cuddles scene before. Its pretty neat how nobody has seen this since it was produced around 1999-2000
