I have ordered my tacx neo 2T from garmin south africa. My question is do i need to buy tacx neo usb ant+ dongle? I want to use the tacx neo 2T and pair it with my imac desktop app.
Thank you for your question. Since the Tax Neo 2T communicates via Bluetooth and Ant +, you will be able to pair it with your Mac with the Bluetooth connection. If you need assistance connecting it, please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist.
was on zwift doing a workout on my tacx neo smart 2 last night and the trainer stopped providing resistance/generating power and the lights on the trainer went out. Turned it off and tried again this morning and when the power is turned on a fan comes on but no lights or bluetooth connectivity! any ideas?

Awesome product couple concerns: When will the 3rd party pedal analytics software be working and what’s up with the bearings as far as service required? What is the policy for maintenance and repair if the bearings can a retailer do that maintenance meaning clean and replace worn bearings after 3 months? Love it but need a proactive strategy to maintenance... Please advise Jed

Hello, i own tacx 2t and I want to buy a heart rate monitor but I can't find a list of compatible devices. (I want a watch with a chess belt) Thank you for your time 🙏
Is this compatible with an S-Works Tarmac SL7 SRAM RED? I have put the bike on a KICKR but when I try to put it on the Neo 2T it doesn't appear to have clearance for the disc brake.
Thank you for your question. Please reach out to our Product Support Team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist with your specific setup.
My bike and edge 830 are already set up with my vector pedals. If I connect the neo 2t to my 830 as an indoor train. Will I need to disable the vector pedals connection to the 830 or will the power and cadence from the trainer take preferance over the vector pedal readings.
Thank you for your question! The Edge 830 will most likely connect to the Vector pedals before the trainer. You would need to disable the Vector pedals from the sensor menu, pair the trainer, and you should be good to go. For further assistance, our support team would be happy to help. They can be reached at support.garmin.com. Thanks!
My “2T” trainer arrives next week... couple of questions 1) Garmin HR strap... no I need to purchase a separate ANT+ antenna or will the unit capture? 2) pedal stroke analysis- is this available as an on screen insert? 3) I use a 1030 head unit... can you share a link on how this can be used with the Neo? Thanks!
Thank you for your comment and your questions! So happy to hear your NEO 2T will soon be arriving. For technical information, please reach out to our product support team at support.garmin.com.
Thank you for your question. You can utilize the ERG mode to control your power output. The following link will give you more information on ERG mode and how to use it. The actual ERG training plans are built into the Tacx software. I hope this helps. tacx.com/training-room/the-basics/erg-mode/
Thank you for question! The trainer can be used with and without a plug. When riding on the trainer without a plug, it functions like a wireless motor brake. The permanent motor and electronics are set to generate energy from your movement, enabling the trainer to communicate with apps and control the resistance unit. It features all Smart functionalities, but you will have to keep cycling to maintain the communication and control of the trainer. For an optimal cycling experience we advise you to use the plug. Without one, it cannot simulate descents and when you stop pedaling the trainer will soon come to a stop. Road feel is always available though. For more information, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at support.garmin.com. We hope you enjoy your NEO 2T!
Just received my NEO2T yesterday and have been riding to my heart's content. Amazing machine and the road feel simulation is simply awesome !
FANTASTIC! Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you are already putting it to good use and enjoying your rides.
We just got 3 in-stock! Been waiting months!!!
how can I set my Tacx NEO 2T to ERG mode in order to pedal constantly a given power, without jumping watts?
I can’t afford it right now, but i'm saving. I need this on my life.
You must like chaos in your life because that's what you're going to get if you buy this trainer. Do your research.

@@GarminRetailTraining thanks.. im in manila PH, patiently waiting, 28 more days to go
its a pity the Tacx trainer doesn't last longer than 2 years very disappointed
Too much talking, not enough video of the actual trainer
Here is everything you need to know in one sentence: the trainer is garbage, buy something else (*not* from Garmin).
Have you owned this product? If not, what are you doing here?
@@rbish907I wonder if it’s some intern at Wahoo lol
