I am a big fan of HPI. We are just starting to get these at our local RC Shop in the UK. I love the Look of the Q2 XT truggy version but it is the same truck. Your video looks pretty good.
Im definitely interested in this truck. I was thinking of this or the mjx but this is definitely the better option. And its a good brand/company to support. Maverick makes some really nice, durable and affordable entry level rcs

I really like the look of the truck looks awesome. Seems I get drives real nice plenty of speed and from what I saw it's durable. Need a little more bashing around to determine that. But the truck looks sweet.
Ours broke 3 times in our video we just posted. We only jumped it one time. I wonder why ours was so fragile? We didnt even rough it up like we do most cars. We may have gotten the friday afternoon factory rushed job.
It looks like on AMain they have a “spring steel” front CVD part now, maybe they’ve released that to address the weak stock front CVDs. Fingers crossed on upgraded diff gears.
I have beat the absolute crap out of mine and it has been a complete tank. If I were able to show you a picture of the body you would probably think that it wouldn't even be possible to run. This includes my 110 lb dog smashing it and stopping it and throwing it around. I broke one thing in 4 months.
I'm glad they put an xt60 on the ESC, deans cannot handle the amp draw and xt90 connectors and batteries are hard to find now. Back in 2018 xt90 would be fine, but not anymore.

Really liking my Quantum2 MT Flux, drives really well. Looks like the diffs might need shimming, as Kaos Rc stripped the tips of the crown gear first time out. It was still driving good with no clicking sounds still, but took the rear diff out to tune the fluid. only to see the teeth chipped around the gear.

@@obiwun32 update: after 4 runs both front and back diff are missing teeth. Did you reach out to hpi directly or through the shop where you bought the car?
@@beman87 I went through the store where I bought the car, but then I've been talking with Hobbies Australia directly after it got sent back to them. Since receiving the car back from the Distributor it lasted one pack. A bearing that holds the diff pinion gear failed, destroyed another diff. I fixed this with a new diff gear and then a driveshaft broke on the next pack. The metal quality in the drivetrain is very low grade.
Yeah i like this truck alot but i did also like the original quantum as well but like you said It needed a few things to keep up with the comp at the time., and i like how they put the quantum hex logo on the treads of the tires. Thats different. 😂
I think you GPS might be having some "redbull"...lol. AMain tested this truck and they got 39 as well on 3s. And the motor is pretty small for 46, but 39 is more than enought for 1/10 scale trucks, IMO

It looks a lot like theyve been influenced by the chassis Design of the Mt10 and thats exactly where it snaps. Fortunately CRCU make a bashbar for that so hopefully someone will do the same with this.

I keep hearing people breaking theirs but I've only read mine about four or five times but I did get rid of it. What actually broke on it?
@@JayTeeRC the front diff went, and it broke two front axles within two batteries. They handle and drive great otherwise though.

@@jonl6335 Personally no, but I dont bash that hard myself. Seen a number of others that have this truck, there gears seem to hold up so far.
